Il a accueilli mon oncle qui combattait un cancer agressif du poumon en lui lançant "Coudonc, vous êtes pas encore mort, vous?"... Quel abruti au niveau humain, mon Dieu! À cause de lui, mon oncle est mort en rongeant son frein pour ne pas l'engueuler, parce que l'infirmière (qui est une amie de notre famille) lui disait : chut, parle pas! parle pas! tu as besoin de lui pour te soigner. Il passe pour un Cro-magnon auprès du milieu médical.

As poor a communicator as he is a state-of-the-art practitioner. Literally poisoned the last months of my 85-year-old father's life with useless chemo treatments (alkeran caused pyelonephritis and dexamethasone caused diabetes that my father had never had before). NEVER offered to my father the option of no treatment at all + the support of thorough palliative control of pain. Made me feel that my very basic questions ("Are there any side effects to the treatment you are proposing?") were utterly inappropriate. That being said, without him, there would probably be zero availability of oncologic care in the Gaspé region. I therefore commend him for his dedication. (Sigh!)
