Dr Hinek is seems very arrogant and impatient, she didn't even bother to sit down with me, just walked in and stood in front of me while i'm sitting down, asked me a few questions and criticized how 'unheard of' my treatment was. She didn't even take a closer look at my affect skin area, and told me it's fine. I feel being neglected.

I have seen Dr. Hinek for several years. Always enjoyed her even though I was aware of her terrible reputation. However, she recently fired me because I missed an appointment. I tried for hours to cancel my appointment I called at least 20 times yet no answer and no response to my message. In case you wonder why I was cancelling my appointment on the day of my appointment please check for my mother's obituary which shows she died in Niagara Falls at 4:30 am with her son (that's me) by her side. Dr. Hinek was always fine. Her staff sucked big time. However, firing me is beyond weird and that is on her.

The positive comments are from her staff writing fake reviews. Don't be fooled, she's a terrible doctor and terrible human. I believe she's a Racist as well. She should be reviewed by the cpso and i hope someone logges a case. Her staff could use some botox, they all look haggered lol!!

Dr Hinek is a miserable, rude, horrible doctor! Worst bed side manners ive seen! I hope she loses her license because she has no place dealing with patients, let alone other humans.

Dr. Hineck is very knowledgeable, She is prompt and well aware of what needs to be done. Those who give negative ratings probably want someone to hold their hand vs fix their problem. She is not the one to do that, but very knowledgeable.

I don't know why Ontario Government is wasting money on this incompetent, money minded and rude doctor. She gave not more than one and a half minute to listen to my problems and at the end said that she cannot suggest any medication.
Waste of tax dollars and time!

I have seen many negative reviews of Dr. Hinek on this site & to be frank. cannot relate to them at all. My experience (3 visits so far) has been nothing short of amazing. I found her extremely professional, knowledgeable and very patient-focused Sure, she is not given to idle chit chat, but that is not why one goes to a dermatologist. If you have been referred to Dr. Hinek, consider yourself to be fortunate, and know that you will be in very good hands.

I saw Dr. Hinek two and a half years ago. I had a suspicious round pink mole on my cheekbone below my eye area that appeared out of nowhere. I had this round pink mole for several months. My GP referred me to Dr Hinek. My first meeting with her I found her polite and nice and she knew right away my mole was basal cell carcinoma. She removed the mole in her office. Lab Diagnosis came back next day. It was basal cell carcinoma. Lucky for me it was early stages. I had to follow up with Dr Hinek 4 times (every 6 months for two years) to examine my body for any other basal cell carcinoma growths. She was always nice with me during these 4 visits and I had no issues. Luckily I had no other basal cell carcinoma growths after 2 years. I would see her again if I needed a dermatologist.

Absolutely poor experience. 1 hour of my life wasted in going to see this Doctor. Exceptionally POOR bedside manners and attitude. Does not LISTEN, does not care. I recommend seeing a Veterinarian rather than seeing this Doctor, that's how frustrating and useless I think she is as a Specialist. She appears to be very focused only on Billing and $$, nothing else. I guess 3 BMWs is not enough. LISTEN, ENGAGE, EMPATHY and PROFESSIONALISM - Try and PRACTICE some of these attributes. Rating of -10 Stars.
