I was shocked to see this negative review especially being the only review on this site for Dr. Hathaway and had to verify I had the right Dr. Hathaway. Was actually going online to leave a google review.
I have a tough kid. Autism and medical PTSD/Anxiety can really cause some issues especially after having multiple bad experiences. I went to my trusted FB group for recommendations from other parents with tough kids and Dr. Hathaway was highly recommended so we gave him a call and scheduled. My son had been left with two holes in his tooth after prior dentist couldn't numb my kid and refused to go beyond 2 shots to try. This left my kid anxious and us in a hurry to find someone to fix his tooth! (in addition to other cavities). My son now had more anxiety over this so I was looking for sedation dental. Dr. Hathaway seemed very interested and sincere so scheduled the procedure. Turns out, my kid is not only hard to numb but hard to sedate. This immediately made my son overly anxious and fearful it was going to be a failure. I thought our day was shot but low and behold, Dr. Hathaway made my son comfortable, reduced his anxiety, built his trust and managed to knock out every single cavity we needed filled. Of course my overly blunt child let him know mid mouthful how, "This is how it's SUPPOSED to be done!" LOL. Excellent job and well worth the visit. Thank you.

Receptionist default answer to everything is "I don't know". Won't attempt to help you. Billing sits on your bill months before sending it in, but charges you interest in the meantime. After your insurance pays them, they expect you to pay the interest in the thousands because they sat on your bill, instead of submitting to your insurance. Pay from your insurance claim, not this office bill. They will rip you off everytime! Dentist use to be great, but doesn't give quality care as before, and hurries you in and out. No discussion of your care, just what he feels you should do. Messes up your mouth and then refers you to a specialist to straighten out his mess. High priced, going after the "wealthier" people of society. You can go have a periodontist to pull a tooth cheaper than this dentist charges. Big money grabbing rip off office. Stay clear, unless you prefer to just give away tons of your money.
