I’m a former patient of Dr. Bernstein and found her to be a very disappointing doctor (I saw her for a number of years). She has nice bedside manner, but in my case and apparently that of others who have reviewed her here and on vitals.com, she was not interested in taking the time to do the problem solving necessary to alleviate my ongoing, severe migraines. Also, I found that she’s not particularly knowledgeable. She’s good for writing prescriptions for common migraine meds, but you can get this from any doctor.

She initially seemed like she wanted to help my intractable migraines. Unfortunately, she made promises and suggestions, but never followed up on them. When I tried to reach out to her, she was vauge and blew me off. Most disappointing as she seemed so nice and knowlegable. I just can't recommend her to others as a result of my experience. When an MD gives up on a patient, it is one of the WORST outcomes that is both physically and emotionally devastating.

I seen her at Cambridge Hospital for my MS she was the best there are not too many doctors out there like her. I miss her i wish i could still have her as my doctor. I can't find another neurologist like her. She was kind responded right away never rushed me out of there. I was very happy with the care she gave me.

For the 50 years I've been alive, I've suffered for 40 of them with migraines. I have seen more neurologists and doctors that you can count on your fingers and toes! Of the 20 or so doctors about 3 really cared but could'nt help me. And then I was sent to Dr. Bernstein who really acted like she wanted to help me and she did. I went from having about 10 migraines and many regular headaches a month to having 3 migraine and no regular headaches in 4 months. Her caring and dedication have really changed my life. Its very hard to have a good life when you are in bed for most of it. I will recommened her to anyone I know who has headaches.

Dr. Bernstein is compassionate, intelligent and responsive. Her staff is very courteous. If only all doctors were as dedicated as Dr. Bernstein.
