There simply is and will never be another amazing Gynaegologist like her in South-Africa. Been my Gynae since 2003. She made the almost impossibility of me carrying a baby to full term part of the miracle of my 2 lovely daughers. They too became her patients now as you adults ensuring that my genetic inheritance, which they also inherited from me, can be monitored and managed long before they ever need to be diagnosed with infertility. I am forever thankful for her. What a sad day when she closed her practise in South-Africa. We miss you dr Martine Dehandschutter.

What a lovely doctor. Been with her since 2011 and she is the best. So professional and gentle. Makes u feel comfortable. Highly recommend her. Her staff are also very helpful and friendly.

Very personal and caring, love her Sense of humour and the amount of care she gives each patient. If the practice is running over time remember you could be the next person she needs to give extra attention to.

Best doctor, she doesn’t take nonsense from colleagues staff or her patients, she spends time with her patients and gives a lot of extra care - hence she often runs late, I’m ok with that because next time maybe it will be me that needs her. She saved my life twice over and delivered two healthy babies. Honest, reliable and exceptionally intelligent.
If you can’t handle her honesty or waiting a little while she saves someone else’s life or holds their hand - find a different doc (I’ve been that patient before, and when I needed her she was there arms wide open).

Dr. Martine is an excellent doctor. She is professional, caring and super knowledgeable in her field. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease, even before a major surgery. I owe my quality of life to her.

Absolutely shocking practice. Very unprofessional, the doctor ran 40 min late without communicating that with me and refused to see me after expressing I was unhappy I had to wait so long. I am so glad I did not open up with my personal health issues to a women who is bad tempered and unprofessional.

Wonderful doctor and person. She helped us through a very difficult period having to terminate our pregnancy. Her personality and way of explaining what was happening helped us through the shock and the procedure. Can highly recommend her.

I owe my life and that of my two boys to her. I have never, ever had such a wonderful doctor. I had my daughter with another doctor in The Netherlands, and how I've missed her during my whole pregnancy!!! XX
