My wife was admitted to Netcare Vaal park on 25/12/2020 with Covid.
Teichler did not even show up until a day later. All the other patients saw their Doctors within good reason though out the days. Teichler pitches up as and when he feels like it, with no regard for his patients. No updates or letting her know what is happening. My wife was in hospital for 2 days longer than she needed to be, just because he never arrived early in the day enough to discharge her. Really pathetic.
Worst service ever recieved.
My recommendation is to find yourself another doctor.

Dr Teichler is a very experienced Dr and even came to my bedside at 23h30 when I was not well at mediclinic vereeniging. He xplained in great detail and gave me meds to feel better and reassured. I had my worst nightmare with this doctor. I was very sick from medication. My liver was affected by the medication.
This so called specialist diagnosed me as an alcoholic. 😄 I was sent home and my medical aid would not pay any further
A young specialist in Pretoria helped me and I spent 3 months in hospital recovering.
Five years later I am healthy and sorry Teichler I am STILL not drinking.

My 82 year old Father was the patient of dr Erasmus in Mediclinic Vereeniging. Dr Erasmus asked dr Teichler for an opinion. Dr Erasmus gave my Father over to Dr Teichler before the long weekend. We were there and able to get my Father home once discharged. However Teichler decided that my Father must stay as he needs a thyroid scan which can only be done on Tuesday. However, he discharged my Father today (Tuesday) without doing the scan. Thus my Father stayed for 3 days without reason in hospital - I am going to inform the medical scheme. And it also costs my Father R1500 for the ambulance home because we were at work and could not assist. But that is not the end, when I got hold of Teichler he said to me he knows what he does and put the phone down in my ear! He is rude, bombastic and does not care for his patients.

Dr. Teichler was negligent with my Spina Bifida daughter, between the 9th and 11th of January 2013 at Midvaal private hospital. Ignoring the fact that she is on Warfarin, Epilim and Keppra, he prescribed cocktails of aspirin and panado, etc... Resulting her INR level being 11, seizures and acute renal failure.
