I had a great experience getting my eyes lasered by Dr.Nia. Him and his staff are very kind, polite and professional! I was quite nervous to have my eyes worked on but it was a pleasant experience. I have no idea why anyone would complain about this doctor.

Unfortunately one of the only Oph North but upon seeing him for 30 seconds, he said I had a issue for life and I should only do hot compresses. Did not even discuss other options so I got a second referral and even the Other MD was shocked by previous answeer. Now on a plan and after a week, majot improvement. I would not recommend.

referred for consult re:cataracts. staff robotic lacking empathy and did not explain procedures fully OHIP will be charged for second field test in a month. a bit of a slaughterhouse atmosphere herding patients along. five minutes with doc was okay. hope he is as skilled a surgeon as efficient business operator.

Experienced staff, gave me papers to explain everything, all my options, also a page which I highlighted for the surgery in Huntsville. They were Covid ready. When I lost my packet they provided me with a new one without judgement. I was the last one of the day for surgery, I felt nothing, the hospital staff was wonderful. Dr. Nia's office phoned me the next day and asked how I was and then Dr. Nia came on the phone to see how I was. Can't wait to have the second one done.

The whole operation from start to finish has been astounding. The staff are helpful and as friendly as possible in these COVID times. The procedure carried out was slick and painless and the post operative care flawless. No, this is not Dr Nia writing this review, but a completely satisfied patient. I would not hesitate in recommending his services to anyone with eye problems.

Hi there, I found my experience with the staff and Dr. Nia excellent!!!! We just got back from our consultation appt...everyone was so efficient & friendly from the receptionist, to his Assistant Susan (loved her) to Dr. Nia...he was not pushy,he was polite,he answered all my questions and I feel I can trust him....Dr. Nia definitely cares about his patients....My appointment was at 4pm ....the office was busy but they all still kept smiling and looked after each and every customer with care..Keep up the great work!! U just can't please everyone...I highly recommend!!!!!!

if you have a choice, go elsewhere. No interest in answering questions or explaining anything. Condescending and impersonal. There are great doctors out there who care and sense how there patients are feeling and go out of their way to address their concerns. He is not one of them.

I have never met such an uncaring full of himself doctor like Dr. Nia. He did my cataract surgery on both eyes. The right eye he did not tell me to get the upgraded lens to correct my stigmatism and the left eye I got home and could not keep my eye opened, he scratched my cornea which I must say is very painful. He books 20-25 people all at the same appointment time and you see his staff more than you see him - the staff complete all the tests and he just says looks fine. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone

Great staff , I waited 2 and a half hrs to see him for 5 min. It would have been better if I was told that the wait was so long . Could have gotten more of my work done I'm kind of offended, the emerg was faster when my eye problems began and that wasn't a scheduled
appointment!

Very busy office, about an hour's wait every time. But he knows his stuff. Not much on personality but I trust him with my eyes
