Does not actually help you implement any of the suggested changes and behaves more like a consultant, spending the entire session listing things you could try. When asked if there could be in-session use of his suggestions to help solidify the concepts, the answer was no. Misogynistic comments were made toward me. Ableist comments were also made when the degree of my pain and disability from physical injuries was questioned, based on the way I looked or maybe how someone in a lot of pain should act, I couldn't say for certain where it came from. Either way, he seemed to lack compassion in every direction.

Repeatedly instructed me, “tell your mind, it’s ok mind…” Uhhh, it’s not ok. Nothing about this psychiatrist appointment, is ok. I do not feel ok, after sessions with Dr. Yury.

Very educated person. However, tends to repeat himself. I didn't find him overly helpful.
