Dr. Russino did many of my OB appointments and delivered my daughter. He has a more brusque and quick bedside manner, so patients should know what to expect from him. I appreciated his candor and efficiency. He was friendly and always willing to spend extra time if I had questions for him to answer, but I had to be prepared with them or he might have been out the door again before I could think of what I wanted to ask. He saw me the day before my first birth and came on-call and delivered my daughter the next day. He was so matter-of-fact and laid back at my daughter's birth, which was just what we needed, as the L&D nurses we had were rather excitable. I ended up having pretty significant tearing during my delivery and he stitched me up so well that I healed quickly and well, and did NOT have a re-tear when I delivered my son a few years later. Dr. Russino is knowledgeable and a skilled professional, but not the doctor you want if you need someone with more emotional sensitivity.

Horrible practice that cares little about patients' care. First, the receptionist told me that my sequential screen results (checking for possible birth defects in my unborn child) came back "perfect," then she realized she did not have the results at all! Next, when my doctor left this practice to start a solo practice, it took me one month, 4 phone calls, and an office visit to finally force Russino's practice to release my medical records, which I requested in a signed release, per office policy, more than one month ago. I am 7 months pregnant and my proper care requires that my current doctor have access to my complete record. Russion's practice could not have cared less. To all the patients out there - know what your rights are, be persistent, and don't let ANYONE compromise your health care. And, most importantly, go see Dr. Marlino at Paoli. She is, by far, the best ob/gyn around. Her skill, knowledge, compassion and humanity set the bar as high as it can go.

Russino & Chasteney OBGYN is a wonderful practice with very knowledgeable doctors. They were able to answer all my questions and they were available to guide me through all the steps of my pregnancy. I saw Dr. Russino more than anyone, he can sometimes be quick with his appointments, but I think that is just his personality. I am like that too so I was glad to get in and out. He did take the time to answer any questions I had during my appointment and he really made me feel at ease when I was worried. He was always so nice to me and asked how I was doing every time. If I had to pick one Doc I would Pick Dr. Russino. You will be pleased with which ever doctor you see. I know I was.

Horrible! He is so rude! I scheduled a 9 am apoointment, being his first appointment for the day, I thought I would be seen relatively on time. I was wrong. He didn't see me until 10 am! He was in the building because I could hear him talking outside the room. After having my csection he did rotation on one of the days I was there. All of the other doctors checked my csection area to make sure it was healing the way it should be. He came in and said, "Well aren't you happy you had him." (In a very rude manner.) And left. Didn't ask how I was feeling, didn't check my csection incision. Nothing! I do not recommend him unless you want to be treated like a number. I'm sorry but the practice is a wonderful practice. He is not a very good doctor.

Dr. Russino is an excellent doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. He always makes you feel at ease with any concern you may have (even the little ones). I only ranked him as a 4 instead of a 5 on helpfulness, simply because on occasion, the practice can get backed up and I have felt a little rushed. But overall I have no complaints with him or the practice. I have switched insurance carriers (to one they do not take) and I will continue to see Dr. Russino as an Out of Network Doctor becasue they are that good. And being as they are Out of Network for me, I have to say the staff is excellent with helping with the insurance issues and claims. I only wish they accepted credit cards.
