Left his practice for a reason. Moved to Ogden running away from problems.

Dr. Taintor is a nice guy. However, his knowledge is limited and his staff is not very meticulous. For example, Dr. Taintor did a biopsy in two places on my back. When I returned to get the stitches taken out by his medical assistant, she took the stitches out of only one site, even after I asked her if she had removed stitches from both places. A month later, my spouse noticed that I still had stitches in my back.

Dr. Taintor is a good man, however, he seems limited in his training and knowledge.
He is not certified in Moh's Surgery, which is ideal in treating many forms of skin cancers, particularly squamous and basal cell carcinoma as well as melanoma. This procedure also provides a much better outlook for clean and tight scars.

His surgical skills leave a lot to be desired also, but if you don't mind unsightly scars, then hey, have at it.

So, for me and my house, we're moving on.
I also found him to be un-empathetic and cynical with his patients.

He's still young, so I'm sure he'll get better with age.

Dr. Taintor "diagnosed" me with a disease that causes tumors to grow on your brain, heart and kidneys based on birthmarks I have had my whole life. He didn't listen to me say that, he was in and out in minutes. The birthmarks I have had nothing to do with the reason for my visit. He treated the reason I was there as his secondary focus and my birthmarks as primary.

He sent me for literally thousands of dollars worth of tests and when they all came back negative except for a few irregularities in my MRI he called me and told me that my MRI results indicated that I could have MS. When he made this phone call he was tripping over his words and seemed unsure of what he was talking about, like he had never called a patient before. I felt like I was on the phone with a scared little boy.

He sent me to a neurologist. When I told her why I was there she scoffed, laughed, and said, "yeah you don't have MS. Nothing on this scan even indicates that". Long story short, after spending a lot of time and a lot of money there is nothing wrong with me. One of the doctors I saw said "Sounds like an overzealous, young doctor trying to make a 'great catch'."

Not to mention, his office staff calling to change the tests they had scheduled and the times they were scheduled for, just hours before the tests, after I had already taken time off work, leaving me to have to take another day off of work for an unnecessary test. They then sent me to the wrong location to do the test, even though I verified it with them many times. I would strongly recommend finding another dermatologist.

Takes in too many patients. Both visits with him lasted for a minute or 2. Didn't seem caring or concerned. Did not find the cause for which I went for and said to schedule another appointment. When I had asked about another medical question, his answer was to make another appointment for that reason.

The Doctor and his nurse were very nice and listened to my concerns very intently. I felt at ease speaking with them.
