He has excellent staff working for him, but he can be very demeaning towards you if you are not the kind of person he likes (i.e. if you are not a fit young person with a sports injury). I complained to the practice manager, and she was very sympathetic but said that nobody will stand up to him and that’s why he continues to behave the way he does. I am glad people are starting to come forward and write some honest reviews. Every patient deserves respect.

Refuses to provide his regular patients with chronic disease care plans or any basic preventative care- even patients with diabetes who clearly require it. My elderly parents had never had a 75+ health assessment done while at this practice, and did not get the shingles and pneumonia vaccine that they were entitled to when they turned 70. It also had been over 2 years since he had ordered any basic blood tests for them. Since moving to another practice, they are both thriving and my dad’s blood sugar levels are finally under control.

Appointments cancelled/rescheduled multiple times over the past few months.

At my last appointment, he was very dismissive of my fatigue and anxiety- saying that it was “my choice” to feel the way I do. I left the appointment feeling very intimidated.

I have been a patient of Dr. Andrew Thompson for over eight years, and I can confidently say that his value is second to none. He is a highly professional and ethical MD who always puts his patients' best interests first. He has helped me with various health issues and always provided me with excellent care and advice. His staff are also very polite and efficient, and they make every visit a pleasant experience. I would recommend Dr. Thompson to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy doctor.

This practice is not worth the higher fees. I called reception to say that I was running 5 minutes late. The receptionist was polite but said that the doctor might cancel my appt and charge me a $50 no show fee if I'm 5 min late!! Thankfully the traffic was better than I expected and I arrived on time. I then waited 25 min for my appt- which normally I wouldn't mind- but if a doctor knows they are running 25 min late, why threaten to turn away a patient for being 5 min late? During my appt, the doctor walked out twice to see to a patient in another room- it felt like he was seeing 3 patients at the same time but probably charging us each $95, and making a fortune. Absolute rip off. There was also a nasty wet dog smell in the waiting room, which staff were obviously trying to cover up with scented candles- I love dogs but bringing dogs to a medical facility is unhygienic

Needs to be reported to the board. Did steroide injection in my shoulder 6 times and conveniently sent to his wife the physio. My pain was a coming form the MELANOMA he didn't pick up

Andrew is a great doctor, he is really proactive in trying to ensure that you achieve the best possible medical outcome. He is very thorough in his examinations and uses an out of the box approach; He has helped me achieve resolution of issues I have had for years.

My recommendation is to be patient with his methodology in treatment.
You will see results if you take on board what he tells you.

Andrew has diagnosed and is currently treating me for a few medical conditions that I have had for a very long time, The care and understanding is second to none, Having seen many specialists and other medical professionals who could not give me a cure Andrew has done this in a very short time frame, I can not recommend Andrew and his practice highly enough forever grateful.
