Visited the office to discuss carpal tunnel, neck and lower back issues. Staff who performed nerve test were good and then waited to see Dr Basile. My meeting with him was standing in the hallway. He doesn’t sit you down to discuss things in an office privately. Told me he would sent me for an MRI. But, then proceeded to tell me to CALL him after two weeks to get my results after my MRI. Why? Is it not your job to call the patient?! Nonetheless I called back after a month and you literally cannot get through to the office. No one likes to answer the phone. Their voice mail asks you to leave your OHIP number in the voice mail. Of course, me practicing my PIPEDA rights refuse to do so but advised them on voice mail that I would gladly provide the number when they called me back. I don’t trust leaving personal information on voice mail and neither should anyone else. Left three voice mails but no call back. Finally went to see my own doctor to get my results but, there was no treatment plan or nothing. I am utterly disgusted in their service. Clearly the mighty swipe is more important than actually helping patients. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone. What a disappointment.

Great experience. Staff was super helpful in accommodating me earlier with an appointment as I was leaving the country for 6 months and they were worried I needed the problem sorted out before I left. These folks saw me within 2 weeks of getting the referral. Then the appointment was just as stellar. Dr Basile spent the time explaining the electrical testing and why they brought me in so quickly. He explained with diagrams and models all the potential risks. I had been bounced around from doctor to doctor waiting months to years. I explained I was booked to leave the country next week and he was able to get me a stat MRI that weekend. Who gets an mri within 3 days of requesting it. He called me directly the day after and explained the issue and that surgery could be done to fix it but that it would take a month to arrange. I then informed him my son is a physician in Israel. He called him. They spoke and my surgery was arranged there within 2 weeks of me arriving. He called his equivalent in Israel to explain the findings and what he thought should be done. They were all in agreement and now I’m on my way to recovery. This was an example of tremendous skill compassion and empathy. Highly recommended.

Very nice people in office. Diagnosed and obtained mri quickly. Feeling better now. Desk staff ok with me. Busy clinic. Good experience.

Been followed by Dr Basile for 4 years now and things have been great. I have flare ups and find he and his staff are reachable by telephone and they make very effort to see me in person right away to perform the shock test and adjust my treatment. Nice people who are knowledgeable.

Wow, what an experience! First of all, the office staff are kind and compassionate while the technician who did my nerve test was very patient with my anxiety regarding the test. Dr Basile spoke to me like one of his family members and explained my situation and used diagrams in the hallway of his office to help me understand. Finally a doctor that can teach in a way that I could understand. I would definitely recommend him, a blessing in this neighbourhood.

Most of the staff abrupt. The doctor consulted me in the passage way at his practice. I did not find out anything of significance. Next step treatment with medication or surgery and shunted off to new doctors.

I had a fantastic experience w Dr Basile and his staff. Front staff and manager walked us through the process and went out of their way to call surgeons office to get expedited surgery. I had been dealing with my back issues for years without help and within a week my pain was bearable following treatments and within a month I had my surgery performed. I am now back to work and fully recovered. I wish I met them sooner. At each point in the process I was taught the medical situation on several diagrams and 3D models that he has in the hallway. At no point did I feel this was not private. I was taken back by how thorough Dr Basile was in explaining thing. He’s a good teacher and made things simple to understand. Very pleased with both him and his staff. Can’t thank them enough.
