Not sure where my original review went in 2016. There were several reviews that have disappeared....Dr Pan misdiagnosed me as being terminal with 3-6 months to live. Thankfully I got a second opinion in London!

I am pleased to share that I have been receiving care from Dr Pan and his staff for Stage 4 lung cancer for going on 6 years, and I am still here today! I have received great care throughout this journey and find that Dr Pan is always patient and willing to answer questions and address any concerns I’ve had along the way. He is very professional, approachable, kind and compassionate. I find he explains things in terms I can understand and continues to provide care and treatment as my symptoms require. For myself, I try to keep a positive attitude.

Twelve years ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and referred to Dr. Pan.
Today I am fortunate to continue as his patient and I am blessed to have had my health in his care over the years.
He is compassionate, a fine diagnostician and treatment planner, and communicates openly with us with respect to all aspects of my care, and any questions that I have for him.
During the covid pandemic he has phoned our home at the time promised and took all the time we needed to both explain test results and answer all questions that I posed to him.
In brief, I am retired senior who provided health services in our community for 40 years, with physicians in our family. And I consider Windsor Regional Cancer Clinic to be extremely fortunate to have Dr. Ming Pan as a member the team of oncologists here. And personally I couldn't be in better hands.

Dr. Pan treated my lung cancer with 100% success.
He is a model doctor IMO, efficient, caring, cut-to-the-chase kind of healer.
His wait times are a little long, but WTH,... he's worth it.
I tend to be tough on practitioners of western medicine but in this case I would recommend him to anyone, 100%!!!
He's a fine addition to the competant and caring doctors in our lost city.

My brother, sister and myself took dad to his first Radiation consultation today. My sister was reading reviews on Dr. Pan and she was not happy. Let's just say, never go by reviews, because everyone is different. Our experience with him was the best so far, out of all the Dr's. we have seen so far. Actually made us feel much better than we have felt in awhile. He was very thorough, very informative and very friendly and REALLY spoke to my Dad like he was not just a patient. We were very pleased. I rate him a 5. NO doctor is punctual.

Dr. Ming Pan has a bit of a language barrier due to his heavy accent but you can tell he is very familiar with his subject specialty, radiating cancers. He is very confident in his assessments and therapy plans probably due to his immense experience in the worldly sense, China, France and now Canada. He is polite, concerned and willing to answer all of your questions. He may be a bit shy with his accent but you get the sense he is fully on top of your condition. I think he tries harder to win for you. Which is good. -AME

I have terminal cancer. Out of all doctors I met with Dr. Pan was the best. Hopefully the radiation will prolong my life. I have no symptoms and I am going strong. At least he is trying. I found him very intelligent and compassionate. Sometimes with my cancer you can survive 3 years and beyond. He was very descriptive of my radiation therapy in a way I could understand. He was the only Dr. where I felt good leaving his office. I get the feeling with other appointments because I am terminal enough is not being done. Is it time and expense they don't want to waste. Extra time in my life is not waste to me. Maybe they cannot do anything but they should be explaining why. I did not feel this way with Dr. Pan. he was the best. Punctual should not be graded as many patients have many questions and you cannot time appointments. I give him 20 out of 10.

My dad saw dr pan for cancer, and he was very kind and attentive to him. As to the other comment, sometimes cancer is not black and white, and it involves complex answers, with different scenarios.

Dr. Pan is treating my husband for cancer.......he seems to know what he's talking about but if your listening to him it doesn't make sense it's like he's avoiding being straight forward or something. Kinda talks in circles. He doesn't seem genuinely empathetic.
