Dr.Shafique Pirani is god in physical form my daughter baani deol is able to live a normal life because of his treatment.She had hip dysplasia nd later DDH doctor saved her future nd made her capable to be every thing a normal kid .dr pirani is very intelligent and kind even his staff is soo humble nd helpful..I will always be grateful to him for my rest life ..

My son was 8 years when he was sent to Dr.Pirani. He had pain on his knees, hips and was limping. Since I was the mom, he never believed what I was telling him about his symptoms. It took him two years to decide he needs to see a neurologist at Children’s hospital, and that’s the first time my husband went with us. He’s very sexist, and frankly he had no idea how to listen to and respect a patient. Very disappointed as he wasted valuable time for my son. He was finally told he has Juvenile Rheumatoid Arththritis in 2013. Five years wasted!

This wonderful and gentle man has helped thousands of children including mine. Without his support my son would not be walking and running today. The staff at the cast clinic are amazing. Even if you have to wait due to it being so busy feel lucky to have the best support available.

Eight years ago my son Adam had a bad accident and spiral fractured his femur. This potentially life threatening injury was diagnosed and remedied by this beautiful man Dr. Pirani. He had the kindest bedside manner and performed perfect surgery and rehab. It was a very challenging time for us with a child in a body cast. He was reassuring that Adam would grow to live a normal active life. Adam has grown to be the most active child one could ever imagine. My daughter was sent to see Dr. Pirani due to prolonged pain in her hips. Dr. Pirani spent 8 minutes with her and his official diagnosis was everything was in her head, and everything would eventually go away. He refused to order an MRI as it was a "waste of resources". Several months and several specialists later, we still had no resolution as all the specialists were going off Dr. Pirani's notes. I had to make a Rheumatologist feel very uncomfortable before he would authorize an MRI.

What was discovered? My daughter had developed advanced Enthecitis Related Arthritis - something easily detectable if doctors do their due diligence. She now has to be on harsh medications and go for injections routinely in the hopes that we can reverse the damage and she is not debilitated later on.

I am not sure if Dr. Pirani is Lazy, Ignorant or just Arrogant. But his complete lack of Due Diligence and its subsequent impact on the diagnosis going forward is certainly Negligent in my opinion.

If your child sees this Doctor, you must question everything he says.

I saw this doctor for a couple years due to an ankle condition when I was young and he was always a joy to see. Very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about your recovery.
