I was given a terminal diagnosis 4 years ago and had a full radical mastectomy. It’s taken me forever to find a plastic surgeon who would even look at me because I have radiated tissue were my breast was. Dr. Dool and his staff got me in quickly, tried to use an expander initially but my skin was too thin. We decided that I should have a flap from my abdomen used to form a new breast. It’s beautiful and more than I could have asked for. He’s changed my life. I’m a young woman still wanting time feel like a woman and now I do again. Thank you Dr Dool!

I had a double mastectomy with free nipple grafts surgery with Dr. Dool. I’m less than 30 days post op but he has already exceeded my expectations with my outcome so far. My new nipple placement is slightly uneven but I had a bigger chest. Prior to surgery my left side was noticeably bigger than my right side. I feel as if he did a fabulous job regardless of this challenge. His staff member Leslie is very kind and helpful. I did notice that there aren’t a lot of reviews for Dr. Dool for FTM surgeries. Perfection isn’t realistic with any surgeon when it comes to these surgeries but Dr. Dool came very very close. Trust that he knows best. Overall, I’m very pleased.

Had top surgery (trans man) Dr Dool did a perfect job on one side but failed to do the same on the other. They look completely different. Staff is amazingly nice and so is Dr Dool, but i will never be able to get over this big mess up.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Dool and his team. My results are beyond what I could have even imagined and the care of his staff is excellent. I had chest surgery done and I can’t recommend him enough. A master at his craft.

I met with this doctor for a consult, along with 4 other plastic surgeons located in other areas. I found Dr. Dool to be very condescending and when I mentioned more up-to-date procedures, including spinal block vs. a general, he was perplexed and then rude! I found him unprofessional, abrupt and had poor communication skills. I don’t think this doc likes to be challenged on his methods and if he continues to judge other doctor’s work without doing some research, he will be remain an arrogant man.

My experience with Dr. Dool was very positive, as being precise and professional. He recently performed a small facial restructuring procedure to correct a facial anomaly caused by the removal of an adenoidal carcinoma. I have had compliments on how natural it now looks.

They keep cancelling the surgery for carpel tunnel. Saying they have an emergency. (Both times called the day before.. how is that an emergency) So much work is put in to getting ready for this 3 weeks off from work, at home (Cleaning, groceries, a driver to bring you and back. etc..) They keep wanting to reschedule this, but in his office.. at a cost of 200$ Coincidence? I think not. I dont believe we should pay for something that is completely covered by medicare. Also.. there is never any answer at the office. Kinda hard to talk to someone when your not in the area. Cant talk to anyone unless they call you.

I did file an official complaint against DR DOOL and it finally went to the committee, and they are giving him a warning, though a formal caution regarding the importance of giving the basic issue and consent and informed consent to patients and family members of those who can not make decisions on their own... so if he does something without permission or properly informed to you or someone you love, pls report him. They listen.

Dr. Dool done my breast reduction. He performed such a botched job that I have to get them fixed by another surgeon. Not only did he leaves lumps and craters everywhere he also left a scar in an unusual spot not even close to my breasts. Said that he slipped with the tool when removing the tissue so now I have a large "C" scar down further on my ribs. My best friend had surgery the week before me and she got a severe infection in both breasts. Had to have home care come in for 3 months. He said that it was because she was a smoker. Being a smoker would not have caused such an infection that her fat/tissue was actually liquefying. Explain that one doc!

Me and my brothers took my 89yrs old mom who had cancer on top of her head, he said he would remove the cancer and do a skin graft, he did a flap instead, had to bring her back, then had a hole on top of her head for a while, then he cut her going towards her forehead and on the side of her head to behind he ear and lots of staples, took months and extra mural to get this to heal. today when I asked him why did not do the skin graft, says he told us was going to do a flap, lie,, then when I asked why he cut her 2 ways, says he did a larger flap,, lie again,, 2 lies back to back, then asked if he still loved being a surgeon, big smile and says yes,, sure could fool me. As I also work with a lady who had him as a surgeon and seen what he did to her, and that is not acceptable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
