Dr. Dool wanted thousands of dollars to perform a procedure that I was told by my family physician was covered by medicare. My friend had the same experience but another type of surgery. I am not sure how this can be. Needless to say I won't be proceeding.

Had top surgery with Dr. Dool a month ago and the results look and feel great, I had no issues. He was very friendly and helpful. He doesn't use drains for this kind of procedure, and resizes nipples to about 1 inch diameter, rather than the "nickel size" that I've seen described on a lot of American surgeon's websites. He's inclusive of non-binary identities and I was never misgendered by him or his staff (though I can't say the same of the people at the Moncton hospital, but that's unrelated). I was a little nervous ahead of time about anyone touching my chest, but he was very respectful in that regard, and no more hands-on than absolutely necessary.

Can't rate the surgery because we never got to that point but really not impressed with the ecperience so far!!
After a 4.5 hour drive with my 74 years old dad + 1 day of lost + $200 gas, we get to the hospital to be told that his surgery had been cancelled last week due to an emergency and that they tried to call 3 times + left a message. She continued by saying that they akready hsve another appointment scheduled for him while she hands me the clinic's business card and continues with 'You need to call the clinic for details'
Well just so you know, when we got home, there was a message from the clinic to inform us the surgery was cancelled but that was the morning of the appointment, not the week before as she claimed and that was well after we left home at 7h00am because we have 4.5 hours drive to do remember!
Definitely do nit recommend this clinic as far as attendance is concerned after 9 hour drive + $200 gas + 1 day salary for missing work!!

I was referred to Dr. Dool by my family physician to repair a bent finger ( Dupuytren's Contracture ) I trusted my family doctor and I trusted Dr. Dool . That was a big mistake on both counts . In the original consult he lead me to believe it was no big deal to fix it . I suggest to anyone to look it up on the internet like I did afterwards because it is a significant surgery . So far 6 weeks after the procedure I am in worse shape than beforehand . In a resting position my finger looks exactly as it did before the operation , bent at 90 degrees . The 12 stitches left significant scarring and I am unable to make a fist . I should have known something was amiss when the nurse who removed my stitches looked at the chart and said " Oh I see Dr. Dool roped you in " ! When I had asked how long the procedure would take he said 30 minutes should do it . I was there over 2 hours partly because he said he needed to now repair some nerve damage . I still can't feel anything in 3/4's of my finger . When the nurse suggested reviewing the Physio exercises and setting up my appointments Dr. Dool asked me if I planned on taking physio , or getting a splint . When I asked if I needed to he splayed his hand on a table and said just stretch it out like this 3 or 4 times a day and you'll be fine . Again I trusted him and again that was a mistake . I left without a prescription for any pain medication . The pain was intense enough to wake me up through the first 3 nights and I'm still experiencing it . I did start physio and they kindly made me a splint to try and straighten & stretch my finger . I had another follow up consult with Dr. Dool yesterday and as soon as I began to relay my experience he turned away from me and started typing . He then lifted his bottom off his chair as he wasn't at all interested in hearing me out . On his website he says what he really loves about being a plastic surgeon is listening to his patients concerns . I have to call this bull in my case . As he exited he said I should keep doing those exercises . I don't think he heard me respond " You mean the ones you said weren't necessary " as he ducked into another examination room . This man should not in good conscience be able to call himself a healer . If I could straighten my finger I'd be giving it to him !

Got a Cyst removed on my head, he didn't shave the area before cutting. Basically if you want to feel like you got surgery in Cambodia go here, Painful experience and 3 x emerge visits following a hematoma and severe blood infection. His advice is don't take antibiotics yet I had swollen tonsils and a closed throat. After 10 days of antibiotics & 18 days after surgery... I'm still dealing with an infected bleeding incision full of hair and a traumatic experience that could have been avoided. This practice should be closed down to save people pain, trauma and b*llsh*t. Don't worry tho the staff is great so they con you into thinking you can trust this idiot with a knife.

I had a breast augmentation Feb 2015. My experience was fantastic then and it has been amazing ever since. I had minor nerve issues which was explained to me as being a risk. I took it. This was not his doing.
My breaststroke are amazing. They still sit perfect. They were gummy bears, 375cc.
In 10 years I'll probably go and have them redone. Hopefully he is still practicing.
