Dr. Chow is not only very sympathetic but she’s very intelligent. I was struggling with depression and anxiety and she really helped me overcome both of these issues. I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. She’s very kind and exactly what I needed to start thinking more positively. I highly recommend her. :)

Virginia is one of the best therapists I have ever met. She helped me overcome an emotional and verbally abusive relationship that involved a narcissist. She opened my eyes and gave me the tools and the confidence to leave the toxic relationship. I now apply all of her insight into my day to day and she truly helped me live a healthier life.

Dr Chow worked with me for nearly 2 years during a very hard time of my life filled with difficult transitions and realisations, and some very low points. Because of covid, most of our sessions were by phone, but I still found the calls effective. Dr Chow is warm, welcoming and so compassionate. I also appreciated her straight talk, insights, and the fact that I felt comfortable bringing up anything that was bothering me with regards to our psych-patient relationship. She feels like a strong, loving, no BS big sister to me. I literally never would've gotten through the past 2 years without her. I learned a lot about myself and about tools/approaches I can use to better understand myself, my relationships and maintain my mental health. I would not hesitate to go back to her if I felt the need for professional help once again.

I would recommend Dr Chow to anyone who is looking for help coping with depression or anxiety. She has a professional, thoughtful approach that pushed me to examine my own patterns and to make the changes I needed, while also being genuinely supportive and understanding. I will carry the tools she helped me develop for the rest of my life, and in all my personal and professional relationships.

Virginia (Dr. Chow) helped me cope during the most difficult period of my life. I was hurting and depressed and couldn’t see my way out of the darkness. Sessions with Virginia were like speaking with a wise confident. She never judged instead she made me feel safe and comfortable. She is extremely compassionate, empathetic and knowledgeable. With her guidance and help, I was able to understand my feelings and work through my depression and today I feel better than ever. She gave me the tools and confidence to be myself again and for this, I will forever be grateful. Thank you Virginia, I will never forget what you’ve done for me.

After a few sessions I can honestly say I’m happier than I’ve ever been. Dr Chow was able to help me pin point what was causing my anxiety and how to keep it under control. Super flexible schedule.

Excellent at establishing an environment where the patient feels confident to open up and is met by an engaging and experienced therapist. The steps/goal of the treatment plan are clearly defined and regular progress feedback is provided which allows the patient to be aware of achievements and setbacks. Communication approach and examples used are well adjusted to the patient. Highly efficient use of the time available during sessions. Very accommodating schedule: I met with her daytime and evenings during the week and even on a Saturday. Simple, safe and inviting office space that is very easy to access. I was very well understood, supported and challenged by Dr Chow and it is without and hesitation that I recommend her to you.

My experience with Dr. Chow was a positive one . She is professional, knowledgeable and empathetic. It is not easy to share one’s thoughts and feelings with a stranger but Dr. Chow listened and did not judge. At a time, when I was doubting myself, she was insightful and made me reflect on the real issues. She offered practical advice and tools to deal with the anxiety. Above all, Dr. Chow was easy to speak to. I felt she sincerely wanted to help me get through my rough patch. I definitely recommend her services .
