Dr Pillay is amazing he saved my life. I have three young children. I had acute back, stomach pain with black stools. He immediately booked a scope for the next day. I had surgery 6 days later. I was in the hospital one week and he saw me twice a day the whole time I was there. He is very cautious and has an excellent bedside. I am a nurse on another ward in the hospital and I can honestly say he is the best there is. He is very reassuring. He got all of my stomach cancer and I will be forever grateful for him and his excellent skills.

I cant say enough good about Dr. Pillay. He performed my gallbladder removal and he was very informative, took the time to reassure me when I was anxious, he was very caring and has a heart of gold. He followed up multiple times to ensure my recovery was going good and I can't thank him enough for the care he gave.

Dr. Pillar did my surgery for my diverticulitis, taking out a piece of my colon.I should have had to wake up to a colostomy bag which I probably would have had for about 6 months. Instead, he did such a great job that I didn’t need one. His bedside manner was top notch and because I have been an RT working with many healthcare workers, I recognize genuineness in caregivers. His was excellent. I would trust him with myself in surgery again, as well as my family members.
