Biography

Dr. Shenasi has lived in the Northern Virginia area since 2001, She earned her Bachelor degree in Biology minor in biochemistry at George Mason University in Fairfax VA. With dentistry as her lifelong passion, Dr. Shenasi worked in a dental office as a dental assistant for 7 years prior to receiving her doctoral degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in District of Colombia. Dr. Shenasi has special interest in comprehensive restorative and family dentistry. In addition to adult dentistry, Dr. Shenasi has extensive experience in pediatric dentistry, serving thousands of children of DC public schools. Dr. Shenasi is passionate about putting her patients’ oral health as a top priority. She is known for her caring and gentle chair-side manner and soft touch. She is trained using the leading techniques and technologies in dentistry. Dr. Shenasi is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and DC Dental Society. She enjoys volunteering her time to the Give Kids a Smile Day and MOM programs. She is board certified to practice dentistry in the District of Colombia, Maryland and Virginia. Dr. Shenasi is continually educating herself through continuing education and certifications, to provide her patients with comprehensive, personalized dental care unique to their individual needs
