Just ok, a little text book, doesn't think outside the box. Waited an hour to see him, and got I'll be back and he never did return. He moved onto other patients. He knows his stuff, but was a little rushed on the 3- occasions I've seen him. He's the main infectious disease guy in Abbotsford, so if you're not happy look into langley or surrey for someone else

Love this Dr. He is awesome brilliant makes himself available 24 7 can't even believe how helpful he is. I have Actinomyces not a common disease and he is on it. Very happy to have met him and fortunate he is looking after me.

I have been a patient of Dr Markanday for more than 6 months and would absolutely recommend him to anyone. I am also a health care professional and sometimes have contact with some of is other patients as well. Nice doctor, very current in in his field and well respected. Best thing I like about him is that he spends so much time trying to provide information through written materials and his website, which is really helpful. Not many doctors would do that. Just google his name and you will see for yourself

Very busy but spend time to explain things to me. Seems very knowledgeable and helpful but I had to wait more than 40 min from my appointment time.

Dr. Markanday is a very nice, knowledgeable doctor. I have no serious complaints about him and his medical abilities, but I have one complaint about his professional "aura". His office in Abbotsford has a SINGLE phone line with no switchboard or voicemail so I usually have to call 15+ times to get through to a person, and I'm almost always HIGHLY annoyed after getting constant busy signals with the message "The person you're trying to reach is unavailable. Please try again later". This is unbelievably silly; I've never even HEARD of a company/clinic/professional organization (in this century) that constantly gives clients a busy signal, and hangs onto clients. I LIKE Dr. Markanday, but he needs to make himself a little more reachable. I'm happy to be put on hold for 30 minutes, but I'm NOT happy to have to call back 5 times in 30 minutes.
