Dr. Bhatia is outstanding, thorough, caring, kind. I have been suffering with pain since few years and have seen two other rheumatologists before who did not find anything wrong with me and told me that chronic pain is from wear and tear and one in Charlotte suggested I look into I pain pills. Saw a pain doctor, but pain pills barely helped. I was starting to lose hope. Then someone at church suggested I give her a try. I felt hear, she also asked several questions, ordered blood work and scans and by next visit she told I had RA and that she can help me. We started immune system medicine, which overtime have worked better than any pain pills I have taken before. In fact I stopped all my pain pills a month ago on my own. Her nurses and staff have always been kind and sweet and helped me with paperwork to fill medicines that I couldn’t afford. I am slowly getting my life back!

Horrible doctor, very condescending and doesn't listen to patients and cuts you off in mid sentence. I had been in severe pain for over a year which she totally dismissed. Was told I had ghout even though I hadn't had a uric acid test. She was so rude I actually cried in her office since I had been searching for an answer for over a year. She asked what my problem was and called my GP as soon as I left her office since I had a follow up with him after her consultation. He agreed I didn't have ghout and my uric acid was well within normal range. Was finally diagnosed by another rheumatologist with a rare and sometimes fatal autoimmune disease. This women is very unprofessional shows no concern for her patients.

Dr Bhatia is a very knowledgeable dr and the only dr to diagnose me after 14 yrs of symptoms. However, she does not like answering questions, comes across as I am bothering her when I send a message through the patient portal, and I am always in the wrong when there is a disagreement. There are often "miscommunications". All reactions to meds and new symptoms are never her problem even though my PCP and neuro tell me orherwise. Her staff is wonderful except for her PA. The PA is .. . . There are no words. When there is delay in getting info from my insurance co for example, my others drs keep me updated. This PA has no concept that customer service means keeping the patient informed. Of course i was wrong when I made a complaint about this as well.
