For three years I was suffering with chronic lower back pain. It became progressively worse as the years passed until I no longer had much quality of life. I couldn't walk very well because the cause of the back pain was also giving me debilitating pain down my legs. A treatment plan was set up for me. The last option in that plan was the one that worked. It is an implant of a spinal cord stimulator. This is a rather minor surgery. I had gone to five top Neuosurgeons. They all wanted to do very invasive surgery, but could not tell me if the surgery would help the pain. I am 70, and opted for the implant which has left me 100% pain free. Dr. O'Connell along with all the providers at PainCare were awesome though my ordeal. There is no other place like this for chronic pain sufferers.
