Ce médecin a fait passé son frère pour un médecin alors qu'il ne l est pas . Elle m à dit qu il allait faire mon évaluation ce qui a duré 2h40 minutes. Je me suis confiée sans retenue pour apprendre par la suite qu il n était pas du tout médecin

Found Candice Cattan to be abusive. She kind of uses your vulnerability and disclosure against you in a very nasty, manipulative way that is not in the least bit therapeutic. In fact, this behavior seems to feed her narcissism more than it helps anyone else. In our consultation, it almost seemed like she enjoyed seeing me relive my suffering, smirking like a sociopath as I cried and then proceeded to call me a liar who made it all up in my mind. Very very harmful and concerning behavior for someone in a helping profession... Seems to care more about her hair and appearance than being a decent physician or indeed, a decent human being. Certainly don't expect any compassion or competence. It's unfortunate that there are psychiatrists like her, who are not only an embarrassment to the profession, but also actively harming vulnerable, distressed people.

Je lui est parler de mes penser paranoide au debut de la rencontre et n'est jamais revenue sur le processus comme elle m'avais dit ou na rien fait pour me rassurer. Je lui est aussi parler de mes traumatise n'avais aucunne empathy est seulement eux l'impression quelle devais remplir des coches sur un questionnaire. Et a la fin tous quelle ma dit cest augmente ta medoc et tes go to go.

Tres mauvais service j'ai été plusieur jour en recuperer du stress occasionner.

Staff is zero because she doesn’t have one, she runs her own show. I’m troubled by some of the comments here. People thinking the doctor needs to ask about your past. Understand it’s in the past, she can’t fix that, it’s done, there’s no magic pill. You own your past, good or bad, it cannot be undone. what she does extremely well is focus on today, tomorrow, next 6 months and further on. We talk, and that’s all but make no mistake, the questions are specific, not intrusive but she’s looking for something, making sure your well going forward. I can’t say enough about this doctor.

A horrible experience, outdated & harmful approach to patient & their illness. Dismissive of concerns, unprofessional handling of questions without taking into consideration possible past history that could be triggered. An out of touch/out of date understanding of health/healing. Treated as a business transaction & gives impression she prioritizes her reporting over wellness/wellbeing and & health of patient.

Do ANY of these people have any knowledge that racism causes anger in people of color..not everything is automatically delusional thinking. poc can get angry and distraught over how racist Quebec and Canadian society really is. This anger and rage can seem like psychosis but it is actually not.. brown men and blacks must never express it because it challenges white supremacy. And scares people with subconscious racist attitudes who literally fear blacks and browns because of stereotyping. There can be no therapeutic alliance with an all-white clinic that has zero empathy with our plight. Imagine a mental health clinic with zero medical staff who are visible minorities in 2021. Wake up and get a life Lakeshore outpatient clinic.
