He's very honest about treatment. I had a root canal done many years ago and it needed extracted soon after as it broke. I had a similar tooth and was faced with the options of extraction and getting a root canal. He said if he felt a root canal wouldn't last he would flat out recommend an extraction. I got the root canal over a year ago and the tooth is still going strong.

I recently broke a front tooth that needed to be pulled so I got him to make a partial plate with 5 teeth on it. Colour is a spot on match and my sister couldn't even tell I was missing the tooth. I love it!

They were A+ to deal with, I had a concern with a tooth and they were able to fit me in before my trip to Scotland. My biggest nightmare was being up in the air and having a toothache!

I was a patient of Dr Susan Pyke’s who worked at First Town Dental and moved to Fredericton. I broke a tooth and needed a root canal. Dr Wishart was able to get me out of pain that afternoon. I still have to go back and get the remaining filling done but the tooth hasn’t bothered me since seeing him!

Very nice office, staff was accommodating. Dr Wishart was running a little late but was seen within 10 minutes of my scheduled appointment. He explained everything and we filled 2 teeth.

There were no warnings about Alex Wishart before I saw him last year. So I unknowingly booked an appointment before I knew what I was dealing with.

All of the restorations he did on me had to be redone by another dentist in the Woodstock area 7 months after he did them. Terribly infected. It cost me thousands of dollars to pay to get it fixed. I’m still paying for it. But thankfully I’m better.

The dentist in town who fixed all his shoddy work assumed that it was done years ago. They were at a loss for words when I told them it was done 6 months prior by Alex Wishart.

I would say beware alright. That’s an understatement.

Beware, he will create more problems while your mouth is frozen. 2 of us in our family have had to go for fillings, only to have an adjacent tooth be broken during procedure. Will never go again.

Dr Wishart is so pleasant. His calm nature puts me at ease every time. He and his staff always go above and beyond to take care of his patients. Highly recommend him. Fits in emergencies also.
