Very pleased with my first visit with doctor Sweet. Staff were pleasant and Dr sweet went above and beyond my expectations

This woman shouldn't have a license to work on anything living!! You should retire Dr sweet and stop hurting people!! Because of this Dr not listening to me I am bed ridden for life at 48 years old. Run away from Dr. sweet as fast as you can,while you still can!!

Dr sweets is ridiculous!!! 2019 had something wrong with my spine and never told me which I needed surgery 2021 comes along and I am starting to go paralyzed because she failed to tell me that I needed the surgery than before Covid. After my emergency surgery she made appointments with Me via video conference and never showed my last appointment that was made with her was made for 10 am and than she changed it this morning at 9 am without warning so I missed my appointment and no one to call and figure it out on Easter Monday! I don't know who runs this place but someone is not eligible to be running this clinic or appointments.!!! This is my life they are messing with and since surgery i have been in pain and can't walk properly but who am I to talk to when the doctor doesn't take her job serious!!! I'm very apolled with the treatment I have Recieved from her!! Been living in Pain and trying to figure out what's been wrong with me for 2 years tried to get things sent over from when I moved and nothing was ever sent
SHAME ON THIS DOCTORS OFFICE FOR NOT TAKING PEOPLE MORE SERIOUSLY AND MESSING WITH PEOPLE'S LIVES LIKE THIS!!!

Left me stranded never said to patient that she was transferring to Thunder Bay hospital which i was a patient saw her once and ave a test but i had just had a heart surgery but was left me taking 10 mg a day for a for 10 year now I was told i should been on it for a few month not 10 years witch witch i tough i was done for the rest of my life. Now I am going to the memorial wish they will see what kind of damage was done. Can wait to do the test i have been not taken for a month because because a screw up which could get my pills for a a month than due to mixup so he start me on 5mg and now doing test to actually see if i really need it. Was told she had to book me for another appointment 2 months later she screw up to Thunder Bay and left all patient behind, she like to to prescribe pills an neglect. I will be seeing a lawyer for not following protocol Thunder Bay beware Magarette Sweet she not dedicated to her patron get reer of her ask why she left HSHN HOSPITOL in sudbury

I have only good things to say about Dr. Sweet. I was flown into Thunder Bay almost 10 years ago and into the Stroke ward where I stayed for 2 weeks. The Doctor and her staff were very caring, considerate and most helpful. I had many follow up appointments and found Dr. Sweet to be very concerned and professional. My situation was not a typical stroke and she and her team diagnosed it immediately. I highly recommend her and admire her work ethics!! Dr. Sweet was sometimes late for her appointments but I'm sure she had good reason, she had a lot of patients to look after.

Whatever you do stay clear of this doctor!!!!! I started loosing my vision and seen the eye specialist who got me in touch with dr sweet and she started me on a heavy dose of steroid through iv without telling me about them, or the side effects! I got worse after the steroids, and when I seen the eye specialist for a follow up he called her to let her know My sight is getting worse and her response on speaker phone was “I don’t know what to do with this broad” she shouldn’t be allowed to practice with anything if this is how she addresses her patients! Now I’m having horrible side effects from the steroids and I don’t know if it’s normal and she should be the one to inform a patient of what to expect! PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THIS DOCTOR

I've had Dr. Margaret Sweet ever since Dr. Howse retired. I find you willingness, and attention to details very comforting. 5 from me.

Dr. Sweet ran a head CT on my Dad who had had a stroke 2 weeks earlier in BC. This was his 4th head CT since the incident but she wanted her own. She neglected to discuss the results of the CT with anyone and changed his medication protocol, also without informing his family. He then acquired a blood clot in his leg due to this change and she discharged him to rehab without doing the ultrasound to save time. We had to organize his transport back to the hospital the next day for his ultrasound. She seems eager to medicate, terrible at patient and family communication and overall unimpressive in so many ways. At a time when people are most vulnerable and in need of options, descriptions and support, she was less than helpful or reassuring. Over the last month I have met 5 neurologists face-to-face to discuss my Dad's case, and she was the worst. I'm sorry if this is the best Thunder Bay has to offer.

Dr. Sweet was with my brother in the hospital a few weeks ago during a very difficult case. She handled the situation as a professional, and thanks to her discharge recommendations it has been much easier going forward and getting my brother the services he needs. Thank you for your hard work and efforts Dr. Sweet!

I agree with the other comments. Her carelessness caused me to be very seriously ill. And yes, she does not want to do anything but medicate or find out the most basic of info like is whether you have had seizures and gives no other info unless asked. She has not been condescending but certainly not empathetic.
