Worst doctor Ever! Avoid him at all costs! No compassion! rude! Ignorance is all I can say !

I went to the Ontario Street Walk-in Clinic on Sunday, May 26th at approximately 11:30 a.m. because that morning, I awakened with a very dark purple eye, as if I had a black eye but I did nothing to cause this. I am eighty-two years old and on blood thinners and blood pressure medication, and I wanted to make sure that this was not something serious. My own physician, who I have been with for over 40 years, suddenly closed his practice and has left us without a family doctor.
I waited to see this doctor for about half an hour, and then was put in an exam room where I waited for another 15 minutes or so. Dr. Stark came into the exam room and directly said, “What’s your problem?” I looked up at him and pointed to my left eye and told him I woke up with my eye this way. Before I could explain to him that I was concerned because I didn’t injure it and that I am on medications as I described above, he simply stated, “You have a bruised eye”. He was standing about six feet away from me and didn’t come closer to examine it. I proceeded to ask him what would cause this, and his response to me was “I’m tired of the attitude I’m getting today”. Then in a raised voice, he stated again, “You have a bruised eye”. I got up and was walking out the door when he said, “Have a nice day”. I kept walking and did not respond.
He did not examine my eye at all. He did not take my blood pressure, or ask me if my vision was affected, or any questions about my health or medication that I was taking. He did not ask me a single question!
Dr. Stark was totally dismissive from the beginning of my visit and I believe that this doctor was very negligent regarding my care. I was a registered nurse and worked with many doctors and I have never experienced anything like this before. I have reported him to the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

This doctor treated me like I was dirt and wasting his time. He wasted my time. Every visit was over 2 hours past my appointment time. I was in the hospital, taken by ambulance and told to see my family doctor asap. I made an appointment and saw him and he said "why are you here?" I said the emergency doctor told me to see you for a check as I had been in the hospital. Dr. Stark said "well the report says you were to come in one week and not now". He then said it would take him 2 hours to go over my medical report from the hospital and that he didn't have time and to come back in two weeks. He was rude and non-caring. I left in tears feeling like my doctor did not care about me or my health. He proceeded to the next patient, all cheery and apologizing for them having to wait, meanwhile, I got no apology and was treated like dirt. I never went back.

You should be ashamed of yourself Dr. Stark! I wish I was with my 21 year old daughter when she went to see you today so I could give you a piece of MY mind!! What kind of Dr. speaks to another person in a way that makes them feel WORSE then when they came to see you!!?? She called me crying and is STILL having breathing issues in which you seemed so easily to brush off!! Your lack of listening and empathy disgusts me. She was scared to go see a Dr and then waited for over an hour to see you - the LEAST you could do was listen to her and not brush her off like she's wasting YOUR time!! I don't know how you got your licence to practice but being mean to any person at any age is called bullying in my opinion. You are a RUDE man Dr. Stark... I would never recommend this so-called Dr to anyone!

I only have good things to say about this patient, caring doctor. Very thorough, thoughtful and logical. Effective secretary who takes care of business in a polite manner.

Never there, always late, rude and rushed. He's my family doctor and I haven't been in 2 years now.

I've always waited at least an hour for a scheduled appointment. Found the doctor to be abrupt. Will be looking elsewhere for a doctor.

This Doctor is rude and condescending. I actually felt better reading the negative posts because I know it’s not just me. He made me feel terrible during and after my appointment. I asked him a question and he said “never mind “ and walked off. What kind of a human being does that?!?! Never again!!
