Seen him 3 times. Cold, arrogant and condescending, without just cause. He is a fill in for my doctor when he is unavailable. I actually dread seeing him, wondering what useless thing he will say next. Has no interest in investigating the "why" behind a patient's request or complaint. Left me feeling embarrassed and upset about a situation that my doctor brushed off as nothing to worry about. This man needs to learn people skills, compassion, and true interest in his patients.

I have been to Dr. Hildebrandt multiple times for my son and I, and my experiences have all been very good. He is very thorough and knowledgeable and has always been kind. I am surprised by the negative reviews.

This dr is a real piece of work. My mother has ongoing bad pain in her knee from trauma suffered years ago and he would not write a form for aish. ANOTHER dr has since ordered the darn aish!

NEVER EVER SEE THIS DOCTOR!!! Why? Well there's a few reasons....first of all i recently just lost my daughter at 22 weeks gestational age I was seeing him since I found out i was pregnant. He never listened...at all. I asked him to send me for an early gestational diabetes screening, after a half hour long fight with him he finally gave me the paperwork. After I lost my daughter I went and asked him if there was anything he could give Me to dry up my breast milk as it was a painful reminder of losing my daughter. He prescribed me bromocriptine, which after I had taken it and gotten a major headache I did a read up on the drug..and it says that it is NOT supposed to be subscribed to women who have recently given birth and are trying to dry up their breast milk as it can be FATAL! I've also recently found out that the reason we lost our daughter was because I contracted listeria which is a food born illness, it had infected my placenta and killed my baby. But early this evening while talking to the community health nurse that was calling to check up on me, I was telling her that I didn't know how they didn't catch it because my white blood count would have been higher. (White blood cells fight infections) while I was on the phone with her she checked my records and sure as heck she said my white blood cell count was up, but he never did any further tests or even told me about the change in my white blood count. I am extremely angry, seeing as, if he would have done tests he probably would have caught it and would have been able to treat it BEFORE we lost our daughter.

Dr. Hilderbrant is extremely rude and condescending. I hated having to see him at Highland Green Walk In Clinic. The two older receptionists are real pieces of work too. I wont go back to that clinic ever! Find another doctor.

Being 9 years in health care, and working with MANY physicians, he is the worst one I have ever experienced as a patient and as a health care professional. Came in with acute crippling pain and was told to change jobs and "you'll just have to deal with the pain". Did not offer any advice except for "find a comfortable position and stay there". No follow up care given, no offer for pain management, no offer for further consults to specialists. Wouldn't read MRI results and explain them. It seemed that all he wanted was a quick 2 minute visit to he could get his money.
On the plus side, the ladies that work the front are lovely, and very helpful. I've seen him twice. I will never go back.

Dr. Walter Hilderbrandt can be take a first look as a not very friendly person,but i have personal experience his kindness,compassion and friendly with me and my husband. he alway take care about my husband and mine conser. he is funny at times with a good sence of humor and care for his pation.
