Went to CMH with severe leg pain and swelling after a day of being lethargic. Was in and out in only 20 minutes after being diagnosed with septic bursitis and prescribed antibiotics. After a week and still having severe swelling I returned to the ER. I was put in a room and Sue came in and explained that she was a nurse practitioner. I had heard the term, but did not know what it meant and was a little apprehensive. She ordered blood work and an ultrasound to make sure there wasn't a clot She told me to come back each night when she was working and would fast track me each night after going through the whole ER registration every night for an antibiotic drip. She constantly checked on me as she passed me in the hall where she set me up on the IV. Sue is very knowledgeable, compassionate and exceeded my expectations and is a great addition to our hospital.

Dr Sue works out of Cambridge Memorial Emergency and is a brilliant addition to staff. She takes time when you come in to assess concerns, is practical and warm. She is especially great with children.
