My husband and I have been patients of Dr Lynch for 12 years. In time other family members who were disappointed with their own GPs have switched to this practice. Dr Lynch is caring, he’s available and he’s an excellent diagnostician. The staff members are all helpful and caring

This man is the most ignorant doctor. Only with him as no others in Kilkenny are taking on patients. He swears in front of patient’s and shouts at the staff. The nurse and the receptionist who works Thursday and Friday are so caring and helpful but the other receptionist at beginning of week is rude and snaps at the patients. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone. He doesn’t even get names right and fobs us off when our kids are sick. Sooner he’s gone the better

This practice is poorly equipped, seems to have had no investment at all. He doesn't even have the lights on in his office. Cash payments only - no card (why might that be.....?). The imperial weighing scales is from another era. Little attention given to patient history by the doctor, little if any questioning. Cursory clinical examinations. Tests are a rarity. He doesn't listen, spends too much time trying to be entertaining. He's not funny.

Once, he gave the wrong prescription which had the pharmacist across the car park dropping her jaw in shock. A problem that could have been solved in days consequently dragged on for weeks.

Like others, only with him due to shortage of GPs in Kilkenny. Desperately looking for another practice.

more concerned with letting you know his opinions on the HSE and other GPs than with whatever problem you came to him , distracted inattentive, bad listener and re medical knowledge and insight, cursory at best

A shortage of doctors means I am stuck with this most ignorant and down right rude man. Knows people have no option to stay as practices not taking on new patients. For this reason alone he still has patients.
