My son was feeling scared, not coming out of his room, not going to school. When his teachers say he should go to the hospital, I didn’t want that but I’m glad he got help. Dr Shakirah was nice, talked to my son, talked to me and my family and finally, my son is doing better. This hospital and the people that work there , they care very much about the kids here. I’m not sure why this says De Skariah works in Glen Oaks. She took care of my child at south oaks Hospital and spent a lot of time helping me understand my child’s depression. I didn’t agree with her recommendation for medication but she understood my wife and I were against it.

Very nice person and excellent doctor. She listened to us patiently and spent a lot of time explaining medications. She really cares about her patients.
