Dr. Shannon adjusts like every other chiropractor, and I can say based on my experience that he is knowledgeable at that. What makes him different from other Chiropractors I've been to throughout the city is his holistic approach of assessment. He spent time understanding how each of the trouble areas are interconnected, and treated those areas. He also provided some information on other health problems I had, at no additional charge. I didn't feel like he was trying to upsell me, as he's not getting kickbacks by these big corporations. He was genuinely telling me what he has read, and already knows. I will go back to him for future adjustments.

The only negative I found, is that his office needs some TLC. The outdated decor didn't help with the overall experience, and doesn't match his more up to date looking website.

Dr. Shannon is very knowledgeable and good at what he does. His wife is very friendly. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good chiropractor.

His wife does reception and is friendly and wonderful, you always feel welcome. As for the good docor, not only does he massage the muscles prior to an adjustment so it's easier to make, but he's thorough and often talks to you about his experiences so you know he knows what it's like to live with pain. I used to see him primarily for treating my scoliosis and TMJ (jaw), which he did quite admirably, but now I see him mostly for pain management and minor adjustments due to breaking my back in Nov.2014. He turned out to be quite experienced with ICBC issues! I trust the man to make adjustments on a spine that's been fused with metal plates and screws, and I would have a hard time trusting anyone else to do so without making it worse.

He is now located in Coquitlam. He is not very thorough, and spends way too much time telling tall tales instead of looking for areas that may need adjustment.

As a nurse and mother I hurt a lot for different reasons. I find that Dr. Shannon can quickly locate and fix problems. He always explains what is wrong and fixs it. He then explains what I can do to help prevent and help the problem from my side. He is well received by the medical staff at the hospital. A lot of the VJH staff see him. I find that he also encourages questions and wants his patients to understand all aspects of their problems and how to treat them. I am very happy to recommend him to anyone.
