It’s amazing how comfortable and confident I felt during my procedure. Dr Furst was kind caring and compassionate during my whole experience. I was scared and hesitant and he took the time to explain and calm me to help me feel comfortable. The office is very clean and the staff is friendly. I would highly recommend Dr Furst over and over again. Thank you for making it such a pleasant experience. No one likes going to get mouth work done. And he has changed my mind about that.

I’m shocked at the care I received based on these reviews - Dr Furst was rushed (which was surprising given I was the first appt of the day) he was to remove two bottom wisdom teeth and said he was only doing one and I had to come back. Then he proceeded to come at me with freezing and no explanation of procedure etc. When he then tried to extract I could feel it and told him - he dropped the tools down kind of angrily - re froze and walked out - 15min later came back in and without saying a word, started putting things in my mouth - I asked if he had to cut or drill and he said ‘it’s 50/50’ then cut and drill while he was in my mouth and I could no longer ask a question - you would think as a surgeon if you had to do some thing your patient was asking about you would’ve given them the heads up… but he didn’t. Then when he was suturing me up the sutures were rubbing all over my nose and lips - not exactly sterile technique! When I opened my mouth to check it out, the stitches were dangling over the molar in front of the extraction site - not even flush with the site. Such a hack job for a surgeon.
Needless to say, a week later, still swollen, still have chipmunk cheeks and still sore and needing Advil. It also looks like he stitched my cheek to my gum!
Completely different experience than the reviews. Makes me wonder if these reviews are legit - as I know many places just get their employees to enter positive reviews. I can assure you, this review is legit and I will be following up with a different oral surgeon. Hoping this office has a competent one. Such an upsetting experience.

Amazing doctor. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed, almost no swelling and little pain and I was back up and running within a few hours!

Dr Furst took excellent care of me! I was given full explanations, all of my questions were answered, and he was understanding of my needs during the procedure. He does excellent work! It was definitely easier than I expected. He was willing to take care of me during the risky pandemic, when the office was closed to regular patients, which is so greatly appreciated!
All of the staff were wonderful! They were friendly, kind, understanding, very knowledgeable and professional. Everything was meticulously sanitary. I felt very well taken care of in every way.
If I ever need another dental surgery, (hopefully not), I will be far less nervous knowing I’m in
Dr. Furst’s care. He’s very good.
Thank you Dr Furst and staff! You are all very highly recommended.

My son had 2 wisdom teeth removed as well as some other work to prepare for braces. The care was very professional and personable. And the follow-up call the next day was very appreciated.

Amazing experience. He performed 4 extractions with no drilling - no chipmunk cheeks - no antibiotics required!!! Staff in Waterloo were phenomenal, clear and knowledgeable handling all my questions. On-call doctor took my call on a Sunday night of the long weekend and talked me through my additional questions - super nice. Great customer service. Great job all around. Thanks!!

Dr. Furst removed my wisdom teeth a few weeks ago. He was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable at all times. He had to drill out some of my impacted teeth, but despite this, I didn't feel any pain while recovering over the following week. He must have done a darn good job! Would recommend to anyone!
