How can this Dr. Still be practicing. Years of him putting me through every treatment he through Relevant only to end up having a complete hysterectomy Only to be sent to the maternity ward to recover as he delivered babies so that's where he puts his patients that's what they told me . How painful that was for me

Worst gyno I've ever seen.
He used the biggest metal speculum in his office (because Im a mom!) and it was so worn from use it shredded my insides. (Exactly like how a steak knife feels on skin) Then he forgot his swabs too so he let it drop, hanging out of me as he left the room! I layed there with a speculum gaping me open to an empty room for 5 minutes too long.. When I cried from the pain, as he roughhoused it in (because it was too big) all he said was sorry. Didn't change the speculum, nothing - even though it was very obvious it was too big for me and hurting me. Nurse did nothing but stare from across the room.
The visit did nothing for my issues, he only emailed another random dr (that ended up in records) for me to call if I still had problems! I called.. No answer. I left a voicemail. No callback. I even got referred to him again a year later, he ignored it. Hes been ghosting me for 2 years. Its for the best, because the visit with him was traumatizing. Unprofessional and horrible!!

Dr Shettar delivered my son and after delivery I had some complications. It was very stressful and dr shettar was very helpful. Even after I was finally able to go home he called me daily to check in then even after a month he still called and checked up on me. I’ve never had a doctor do that so I found that very nice. He is a great doctor!

Gave me medical misinformation; 3 other doctors told me pcos causes weight gain, Shettar told me that he could not help because I gained weight and that pcos does not cause weight gain. He told me (his words) to "stop eating fries and cake every day" because it was my fault I had pcos. When I told him it was wrong to lie to patients and that I knew better he told me that if I didn't like what he was saying not to come back.

This is all without asking a single dietary question and while I was actively working with a nutritionist.

Alright, saw this doctor for a pain condition I've had for several years and I was looking for a diagnosis I which I needed surgery. Of course he wouldn't do anything just like all the other obgyn's and just tried to push pills on me to mask the symptoms I was having. Overall, I found him very rude, rushing, and cold hearted. I don't understand why doctors like this won't diagnose your problem to treat the root cause of it. If you're wondering about the other obgyn's in Yarmouth ... Don't waste your time.

Because of this terrible doctor I was at a life treatening risk . He will not provide you with care nor answers that you need , he will only give you what he wants and tell you “we watch and wait” . NEVER recommend him to anyone , he has no knowlegde of his job and should never be able to be called a doctor !!!

This utterly incompetent MD refused to terminate a pregnancy. Not only did he refuse to provide care, but also resources. This IS a crime and you will be reported

I had a very unpleasant visit with Dr. Shettar. He sudjested the pain I'd been having for months was all in my head and perhaps I should just stop thinking about it. He was very unwelcoming and cold.
