Not sure what to make of her…..my visit was very recent so I can’t say for sure if her advice is accurate since I haven’t had time to see results. Based on her good reviews, I’m hoping her expertise will eventually pay off. However, I found her kind of… I dunno like I was being scolded. I felt kind of rushed, and she did tell me she didn’t need to see my hives because they see them on a daily basis. That struck me odd. I got an appointment last minute having originally been scheduled for like Feb 2023. I called to complain and got a next day appointment- and really if I had to wait until February to get such a lacklustre appointment I’d be more pissed. So, no warm and fuzzy vibes. But she’s the fourth dermatologist I’ve seen and the best out of the four. So imagine how awful those other ones were I’ve seen. Just sick of not being taken seriously for my issues. I had higher hopes and was a bit let down.

I feel so grateful that she has diagnosed quickly and treated my serious skin condition (pemphigus). People can die of this immune blistering skin condition. I am so thankful for her attention to my problem.

I saw Dr Landolt a year ago for acne. She has excellent bedside manners, was gentle and knowledgeable. I'm grateful to be able to say she is my dermatologist.

I have been seeing Dr Landolt since I was 16 and I am now 40 years old. She is phenomenal at resolving complicated acne. As I got older, my issues changed to problematic moles. I have full confidence in her judgement. She is an excellent doctor. I am a health care professional working in critical care at a near by hospital and I choose Dr. Landolt because I really trust her. That's what it is all about, trust and confidence in your doctor. When it comes to things like skin cancer and life and death judgment calls, I want the best. And she is the best ! I find her empathetic and straight to the point. She answers all my questions clearly and concisely, and I feel I can discuss anything with her. I even had my mother referred to her because I think she is excellent. She is busy and has to manage a lot of patients and prioritize her time. In my professional work, I have seen doctor's make poor judgement calls and the consequences of that, but I literally put my life in Dr Landolts' hands every time I get examined for my moles, because I have full confidence that she really cares and doesn't miss a thing. In my opinion, that is the kind of Doctor everyone needs. Some people write a review after one visit, this review reflects 14 years of treatment by this physician. Her secretary at her Mississauga location is also very courteous.

I agree with the other negative reviews on this site in terms of rudeness, abruptness, and poor assessment skills. I had a scar from having had a cyst removed from another dr years earlier. I suspected the cyst was growing back under the scar making it look odd and could feel the cyst under the scar when running my fingers over it. She barely glanced at the area and did not touch it, told me it was a keloid scar and that’s how the body heals in that area. She suggested a cortisone shot which I agreed to but it only made it worse. The cyst continued to grow larger and the surrounding area on my upper arm, was sunken in due to the cortisone injection. I went to a plastic surgeon who removed the cyst and told me the cortisone made the fatty tissue thin causing a depression. I’m upset I made my issue worse by going to this dr and thinking about how she handled it.

Dr Landolt has been my dermatologist for 10+ years. She has successfully treated my psoriasis to the point where I have had no symptoms for 10+ years. For the previous 40 years I had received lotions, salve, light treatment with very little improvement. I have a difficult time understanding the negative comments I see here. She is compassionate, always willing to listen, has fit me in for appointments when I have shown up on wrong date. I think she is terrific. 5 Stars for sure.

This is the first time I have ever felt the need to write someone a review, but my experience with Dr. Landolt was so awful that I felt it was necessary for me to write this and prevent other people from wasting their time with her. She was very rude. She kept interrupting me when I was trying to explain my symptoms, and she didn't even look at my skin which I found very odd. When I didn't understand something she said and asked for her to repeat it, she rolled her eyes at me. When she told me my symptoms may also be stress-induced, I proceeded to explain that that was very possible because of an upcoming med school interview. She then gave me an angry look and said that she didn't agree with my goals and basically said that it would be a waste of my youth. I am completely shocked at how unprofessional this was and am currently looking for a new dermatologist.
