The very best doctor I've met. He's been mine for 30 years. Always here to listen and talk and help. Simply the nicest and best doctor ever. My girls and I love him.

Doctor Cohen has been my doctor for a few years now, and has been my moms, aunts and uncles, and grandparents doctor for over 30 years. He has been an amazing support to me and my mom throughout our toughest time in life. He never failed to make us smile with one of his witty jokes, and he always took the time to thoroughly listen to us. Saying goodbye to Dr. Cohen in his retirement is like saying goodbye to a family member. My whole family will always cherish the times we spent together, and all the good he has done for us.
As well, DD the receptionist in his office was the sweetest lady who always greeted us with a smile, she was always prompt with booking appointments and was extremely organized.
Dr. Cohens practice truly embodied the true meaning of a family doctor. The professional-client relationship, and the kindness he treated us with was impeccable which is hard to find these days.

Went to see him to get a colonoscopy as I had just turned 50. He told me not to get one because they were dangerous and could perforate my bowel and could result in having to wear a colostomy bag. At 53 a friend died of mine died of colon cancer and I asked him again. He got very upset with me and finally said fine. It turns out I had 3 very large polyps in my colon and according to the gastroenterologist would have been cancerous in a few more years. I was also diagnosed with diverticulosis. The gastroenterologist told me that what he said was not true and I should find a new doctor. I have him the benefit of the doubt and didn't. I went to see him recently for MRI results on my lower back and found out I had osteoarthritis. He was very unsympathetic and said it was my fault for being so active. I informed him that my mother had passed away 2 weeks earlier and how upset I was about this and the osteoarthritis diagnosis. He said, "life sucks when you're an orphan". I was shocked and horrified at his cruel comment. I will not be going back.

WARNING!! This Dr should’ve retired years ago. Yesterday (September 23/2020) he knowingly could’ve exposed his office and patients to COVID 19. He was in close contact with someone who was waiting for COVID test results and was showing symptoms himself (blamed alergies for his coughing and sneezing) yet he still opened his office to patients. He was notified in the morning of the person’s positive test results and closed his office however he should never have opened up until that person’s test results came back. Because of his irresponsibility my partner (his patient) and I have been advised by our jobs to self isolate for 2 weeks and are now going through the stress of wondering if he gave my partner COVID. We’ve reported him to Toronto Public Health.
