Rude- says it all. Never want to hear his name again

Dr. Dommann has no desire to get to know you , your medical history, anything. Before my most recent appointment I was in the ER 3 different times with seizures. He has no desire to discuss them , however that’s the sole reason I’m there. My last visit I was waiting for an hour , he finally came to get me , increase , decrease meds OK bye. 5 minute appointment. I actually timed it , to see how bad it was .

An excellent neurologist. Helped during the fists visit, scheduled the follow up and arranged for the brain scan within 20 weeks after the first visit. as a chronic migraine sufferer, i am lacking words to praise his skills and attitude.

Charges $200 dollars for being late or missing and standard apointment, when the industry standard for specialists is $30 for a general and $60 for a physical. To add insult to injury he is Consistently more then an hour late to his own appointments that have a 3-6month waiting period, thats if he doesn't cancel on you the day befor. If his waiting room wasnt a baren wasteland I might believe he was actualy busy. But when you get into his office its an hour waiting with 5 minutes of brief diagnosis and brushed out the door with a bandaid medication. First round of prescribed medication made my condition worse, second suggested medication barely helps. The cost of the medication is ridiculous and waiting on his "authoritive approval" for a medical plan that covers my $75 monthly pill cost is takeing over a year to get approved. I would not suggest this Neurologist to anyone, he hasn't helped and only made things worse for me. Ontop of that his staff is rude and and unhelpful.

Dr. Dommann treated my 87 year old mother who had a mini-stroke and this was a follow up appointment. He was so patient with my mom, who is hard of hearing so he had to repeat himself a few times. Very kind, caring and thorough. I felt that my mom was in very good hands, and all of this through COVID stress overwhelming health care workers. Recommend him highly... very nice doctor and his receptionist was great! Even helped me print off my mom's medical records as she had forgotten them.
