There is nothing I can say that will express my extreme gratitude and profound appreciation of Dr. Bodenheimer's skill, knowledge, understanding, and empathy. I had consulted another eye center concerning cataract surgery. After five weeks wearing only outdated and weak glasses, I decided to obtain a second opinion. My analysis at Baptist Eye Center was almost the exact opposite of the tests completed at Southeast Eye Surgery Center. I had been told by SE that I would have to first remedy my dry eye problem, wear no hard/gas permeable contact lenses for an extended period of time (already 5 weeks) and then consult a retina specialist for a possible hole in my retina before cataract surgery could even be considered. After weeks of one thing and then another, I chose to consult Dr. Bodenheimer. I will forever be thankful for that decision. I am one and a half weeks out from my second cataract surgery. For over 60 years, I have been legally blind without corrective lenses of some sort. I was told by SE Eye my astigmatism was so severe it could not be corrected with cataract surgery no matter what lenses I chose and I would need glasses or contacts after surgery. Dr. Bodenheimer was honest and told me the company that makes the lens replacements did not even make one to correct for my severe astigmatism. He hoped they could compensate for all the challenges my eye presented. As I stated earlier, I am almost a week and a half out from my second cataract surgery. I awaken every, single day and go to sleep every, single night marveling at my miraculous vision. Never in my life have I been able to see so clearly, driving or reading, near or far. I thank Dr. Bodenheimer with all my heart. Each and every day with perfect sight is an unbelievable blessing. I could never ask for better. Dr. Bodenheimer and his staff are the very best available. I am eternally grateful.

Dr Bodenheimer has the patience of Job! It does not matter what your concern is, he will answer you. If there is a problem, he will go beyond what you would expect to see it is corrected. Been going to him for years and he is a wonderful doctor and eye surgeon.

Dr. Bodenheimer is a good choice for an eye exam. I was having issues with double vision, dry eyes, and blurry vision. I am not a fan of doctors, so I took my time and did some research. Dr. Bodenheimer has received good ratings from other sites, and he is a 2011 Patients' Choice Award recipient. He ran some tests, and he found out that I have a genetic disorder that caused the surface of my eye to have imperfections that resulted in the blurry eye problem. He rescheduled an appointment, and used laser surgery to fix my eye. It took 3 months for my eye to heal. I do not have perfect vision in my troubled eye, buy it is an improvement. Dr. Bodenheimer is a nice guy with a decent sense of humor. My only complaint is that he tends to not spend much time in the exam room, so it a little difficult to talk to him, but he is clear and concise about the problem. I recommend Dr. Bodenheimer for eye exams and any eye issues that you may be having.
