she made me feel worse having seen her. i was coping with my addiction but now i have to cope with her

She is the worst addictions doctor I’ve ever dealt with. Feels she has the authority to cancel or modify the dose or medication prescribed by others, even from specialists such as neurologists and disregarded that my cardiologist does not want me on her sleep med due to a heart condition. Cancelled an approved sleep med. Overall, she has a god complex even tho I’ve yet til find a publication by her. She should consider a different field and let the specialists determine the best care plan when patients have acute illness. Very controlling attitude.

Before Covid, I had the displeasure of meeting her face to face. As an addictions Dr, she is the worst one out there. Avoid at all costs. If you find yourself needing to work with her, find another dr. She has been reported to the College of Physicians and Surgeons more than once. She is outdated in her understanding and knowledge of harm reduction practices and doesn’t view cannabis as therapeutic in any way, shape or form. She has no compassion. No understanding. And the way she speaks to people to belittle them, is so unkind. Given her position as an addictions doctor, she is not in the business of trying to help people but rather, intentionally puts barriers up to make things more difficult for folks when they are already struggling. Honestly. Take a look at these reviews. Would you buy a product with so many terrible reviews, or would you keep shopping until you found a better, more reliable product? Stay clear of this person. She is a detriment to patient centred compassionate care. DO NOT TRUST!

Quite possibly the worst doctor ever, has a nurse named Lou who will try to make it her mission and go out of her way to ruin your life, I am now a masters if nursing student (was just just starting back then and have not been on any medications from these ppl for years). But the Doctor is retired thank god and that Nurse is so miserable and rude she needs to go into a diff field. Anyway she’s so god miserable that she will argue with you and interrupt you during your appointments as you are not allowed to see the Doctor by yourself which I believe is a violation of privacy, I hope she switches fields because she should not be working in addiction medicine......Both the Doctor and that Nurse that miserable pos. Glad they did me a favour and got me off there program quickly, please go to Phoenix Recovery at Brothers Pharmacy on Selkirk & Andrews St. Dustin and Mike and Andy and the gang are the best and Dr. Jensen and NP Shams are great! They helped me get to where I am today and I will soon hold a Masters of Nursing and I actually hope to apply there and practice as an NP and prescribe Methadone and Suboxone and other needed things to help the ppl that really need it.

This doctor took me onto methadone treatment. I would completely agree about her previous manner described. She was rude, and arrogant and should not hold a medical license. She had a trusty partner named Billy whom was equally rude as well as other doctors at the Cari Clinic on Broadway beside the Four Rivers Clinic. She wiened me off methadone from 125mg down 10 mg per week, I asked and pleaded to stop. Her colleague refused to help as she was on vacation. This lead me into dangerous withdrawal and was the first time I had been on this Methadone. It also lead me to activities that could've been prevented if she only would have listened. I should have launched a civil suit against this clinic for their conduct. I still do wonder if the statute of limitations has ran out and yet may consider this. Do not ask this clinic for help. They are in it for the money. Their is much better help on Main Street or Mine Clinic. Inhumane treatment caused me to spiral and lose everything I have loved

Not only a horrible doctor but a horrible person. She is super quick to pass judgement on people and label them. But maybe she should look in the mirror as she is far from perfect herself. She is not really interested in treating addicts prefers alcoholics and tells you so. Don't ever get on her bad side as she is super revengeful and spiteful. The staff are half afraid of her and the other half her little minions who carry out her bidding. Horrible doctor wouldn't trust her with my life again, not some one you want to be involved with if you trying to better your life. If you are already in a downward spiral and want to stay there then she's your doctor she will not only make sure you stay there but knock you down a little more and make sure you don't get up.
