When I first went to his office the rude receptionist was there, he replaced her and the new one is wonderful. She goes above and beyond and makes it as easy as possible. Dr Boyer is wonderful. He's to the point, very knowledge and likes you to ask about your concerns. He did a brilliant job on my surgery (acl reconstruction) and performed a microfracture which he found once inside which will saved me having to get a knee replacement down the road. Would recommend him to anyone. :)

After reading the posts below I knew what to expect with the MOA and knew how to deal with her. Equally she knew how to deal with me as well seeing I am not the most compliant patient. Dr. Boyer was excellent and I have no doubt if I should need him again in the future I will see him again however he was not to informative with what to expect post op. he was unspecific with recovery times and what to expect, simply replying everyone is different. In the pay scale of people outside of surgeons world, it is important to give some idea. We understand everyone is different but do prepare a patient that recovery could take at least up to six weeks.

Can I give zero stars for staff? The receptionist is likely the most rude, condescending and unprofessional I've ever encountered. Ever. She even went as far as making fun of other patients in my presence. I've visited the office three times and each time, I have been appalled by her poor manners. She needs to be fired because it makes Dr. Boyer look bad and it's a poor representation of the quality of service he provides. Dr. Boyer, I have no doubt, is as good as it gets in BC. Extremely knowledgable and caring, taking the time that's needed to give a thorough examination. It's a shame his receptionist puts him in such a terrible shadow. She's not the face that should be representing Dr Boyer at the front of his office.

Boyer knows what he's doing, he's respectful and caring. The only thing completely wrong is the receptionist. She's so rude and the last time I spoke with her I ended up in tears. What a shame having her as a receptionist.

I am a high performance athlete, who have been to all sorts of doctors and specialists across the city. Without a doubt Dr Boyer is the best that I have seen in terms of his knowledge and willingness to go out of his way to help and listen. The receptionist is lovely as well. They do run late, but I feel like that is pretty standard for most doctors, but he is well worth the wait.

I went in for a meniscus repair and was greeted with a very knowledgeable, kind and caring doctor in Dr. Boyer. He answered all of my questions, helped me understand everything I needed to, and made me feel cared for and heard. I never felt that I was rushed or like I wasn't being heard. Great doctor, definitely recommend him.

I was completely appalled at some of the reviews on here regarding Dr.Boyer and his office. It's a good thing I know first of hand that Dr.Boyer and his receptionist are incredibly kind and caring. Dr.Boyer sometimes runs a little behind yes I do agree with those comments but I have never had a single problem with his office staff. I see his receptionist constantly fielding calls and patients every time I am in the office. Sometimes its hard to get through on the phones as I understand it is busy, but the lady there is so very kind to me every time. She is very understanding and kind and does not judge people as I have seen in many other office. Good job Ms.Receptionist and if you read these do not worry, you are a great girl and help so many people!

My daughter and I both see Dr.Boyer. He did an amazing surgery on her knee that even her physiotherapist was impressed. For my foot I transferred to Dr. Boyer from a different specialist and relieved I did! I find both Dr. Boyer and his Secretary friendly, informative and not in a hurry to rush us out. Majority of medical offices do unfortunately have wait times. Let's also not forget all the behind scenes of work they have to deal with- scheduling, surgeries, billing, the unforseen. Personally, Iam very thankful my family has access to Dr. Boyer's skills and expertise.

Well....I found the Doctor to be nice and knowledgeable. But I definitely can't say the same for his receptionist. Not very pleasant.....don't think she likes her job. She only smiles or talk "normally" with people she knows.
