Dr Martin took over my old doctor when he retired a couple years ago. She is great always willing to have a follow up apt after referrals listens to me and is rather knowledgeable. She just took on my new daughter and I have no complains! I just had one of the residents there and I think I will pass on that again and wait for doctor martin

Showed up to my appointment with Dr. Martin only to be told that she couldn't see me because she was late that day. Not running late with other patients, just not at the office at all. Was instead seen by a resident who insinuated that I must be sexually active because I was wearing a skirt (even after explaining that I was not). After this, I told the resident I would rather wait for Dr. Martin to arrive because I was not comfortable after their weird remarks. When Dr. Martin finally arrived, she insinuated that I must be a racist for not wanting to discuss my personal health issues with the resident (the resident was not the same race as me). Absolutely bizarre experience. Once of many times I have left Dr. Martin's office in a rage. Avoid her.

6 years of time wasted with this GP. Numerous occasions I felt like an anomaly, as she "thanked me for educating her" on a very basic topic that required a simple referral (which I only managed after writing and reading her a letter, since she was unwilling to verbally communicate without repeated interruption). Unwilling to accommodate autistic adults. Vague and impatient with patients who have follow-up questions. Horrible experience, and I hope the nurses working for her are at least getting paid well. She has incoherently voiced commentary from the nurses she works with, which only further confused me when accessing help from them. They seemed professional, willing to help and were overall friendly, but Anne was adamant about how uncomfortable everyone was which frankly, came out of nowhere. To hear an enthusiastic "see you next week!" from a nurse to be accused of "making everyone uncomfortable" by your GP is very confusing. It's especially confusing and discouraging to autistic patients when a medical "professional" refuses to acknowledge their basic needs. She lacks empathy, and needs to attend a whole lot more courses/seminars on how to communicate with patients, especially vulnerable demographics. As an aspiring medical navigator, her office is the last place I would recommend to any prospective clientele.

Dr Martin took over for my GP when he retired. I find her to be kind, empathetic and helpful. If she doesn’t know how to help or feels a specialist is required, she will refer with no issue. Even after referral, she keeps in touch to just see how you’re doing.
I feel lucky to have her.

Waited over an hour for her to attempt to remove a plantar's wart . She slit my foot open so badly I ended up in ER.

She's useless. I've learned to google possible diagnoses and mention them to her. She then picks one and sends me to someone more skilled. The receptionists are awful.

Dr. Anne Martin has been so loving to my 88 year old mom who is quite ill. She has gone above and beyond, and I am thankful she is taking care of my mom.

I switched family doctors after moving here and wish I hadn’t. I find the one receptionist in particular to be very curt and condescending. Just making an appointment has become stressful. I’ve also found Dr Martin to curt - at my son’s 2 month check up, I had a few questions/concerns any new mother would have. She spun it around like I was being overly emotional and as if I was a hypochondriac. Another time I accompanied my spouse who was having mental health struggles. Instead of addressing them she turned his problems against me! I wish I could go back to my old family doctor. I now feel like I can’t have a good doctor-patient relationship with her because I don’t want to say too much. I now request to see one of the nurse practitioners instead of Dr Martin.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Martin. The time she devotes to me and my family is amazing and touching. We never feel rushed when we see her and if something requires more time she will book using for another appointment and allot the necessary time.

I found Dr. Martin to be rather rigid in her opinions of treatment. Write a prescription rather than support homeopathic remedies. Pharmaceutical based treatment options only.
I have changed doctors.
