Update from last post, finally got itemized bill, for ingrown toe nail, he billed for I&D subfascial deep, and diagnosis code as cutaneous abscess and cellulitis ....really ??? If that was the case he should have told me and had me on antibiotics ASAP!!! That was not done, so that tells you he is billing fraudulent things. When contacting his office , they tell me that he has it detailed of what he did , drained fluid, etc. , their statement is I was not in the room so I don't know , my return statement is " I was in the room and watched the entire time, none of that was done with the exception of the removal of the ingrown toe nail" . It is so sad that he can do this to someone and still live with himself. I am sure that I am not the only one he has done this to......I hope he gets caught soon!!!

Run as fast as you can in the other direction!!!! I went in to get an ingrown toenail taken out and he ended up taking an x-ray of my foot and an ultrasound. When asked for what purpose, he stated that he wanted to make sure that it was not a bone spur….really? Anyway he did take out the ingrown nail and I went on my way. Upon leaving the office they already had the bill printed out to pay based on what they thought my insurance would pay, stupid me did not question the price being I had not had this procedure done before. After about 8-9 months the ingrown toenail came back, the staff told me I would have to pay to have it done again. Mind you my first bill from that office was $627.54 after insurance so that was out of my pocket. After asking several times for an itemized statement for the visit, still to this day, over a year later still no statement. I reviewed the EOB from my insurance company, he charged me/insurance company to drain fluid from my foot…?????? I went in for an ingrown toenail, no fluid at all on my foot. The service description is: surgery to drain fluid buildup on the foot. I think I would know if he did this or not and the answer is he definitely did not do this. This charge to the insurance was $500.00 and I had to pay $342.62 of that out of my pocket. Also a charge for a lab fee for an aerobic bacterial culture….for what I am not sure. From my knowledge of others who have had an ingrown toenail taken out, if the Dr suspects infection they put you on an antibiotic for 3 days and then complete the procedure. STAY CLEAR OF Dr. Polansky!!! He also pushed orthotics, which I was able to get from my chiropractor for $200 less.

Run for your life. This doctor is a complete fraud! He messed up both my feet. I will never be the same after 3 surgerys. I wish death upon him and his family! He is pushy and does not care about you or your problem. He only cares about the money.

Worst Dr ever. Committed insurance fraud. Ruined my feet for life. Surgery done on both feet. Cleavland clinic couldnt get records from him. Neither could Ohio Orthopedics. Run while you still can.

This Dr. Put screws in both of heel bones...told me I had curved heel bones. Tried to do it my son too. Messed my feet up for life which put me on disability. Still trying to bill insurance 4 years later and they will not pay. Cleavland Clinic and another Dr could not get my records from him. I would NOT recommend him to anyone.

Was a patient for several years against my better judgment until I couldn't handle this so called doctor anymore. Very, very rude and extremely arrogant! Completely messed up my knee and foot to where no doctor can possibly repair the damage he caused. When I questioned his plan of care he would become very angry and raise his voice so loud that my companion heard him in the waiting room! He tried hard to push orthotics but I knew they were worthless as I didn't need them. A money scam he plays.I strongly advise anyone against seeing this doctor. I have since learned he has had several cases against him and many unhappy former patients. Do yourself a favor and keep searching for a doctor. There are many who do care about their patients and put them first above all else. Polansky wants a nice office and a full bank account and I just wanted a knowledgeable, qualified, caring doc. I finally found a great one in Centerville who truly cares about my needs.

Very positive experience with Dr Polansky. Seen other podiatrists, one appeared to not know what he was talking about.
