We were transferred from Loose Jaw to Regina for emergency surgery for my 1 yr old’s bowels. I appreciated so many things about this doctor. He explained things quickly through a drawing, answered my questions clearly and followed up quickly via phone call after the operation was complete. (Although the quality of call on the hospital phone line was not good). My daughter has recovered so quickly!

I cannot say enough good about Dr Jeena! He was absolutely amazing with my daughter. He explained everything in a way we could understand, he even drew pictures to explain what was going to happen for my daughters surgery! I am so thankful we have someone like Dr Jeena helping our children!

The only bad thing to say is he barged into my room without consideration of my privacy. Privacy at RGH is not ever considered. It should be. Dignity was all I had left to fight for after loosing so many other battles. Being able to cover up is not too mischief to ask. Otherwise he was an amazing surgeon and helped us and our son emensely. We appreciated the follow up and the patience to answer all of our questions and gave us all the details of the surgery. We felt relieved to be finally get the help our son required. The scar healed so nicely and is very minimal. Our son had a portion of his bowl removed.

Dr Jeena was amazing for me and my daughter!! He explained thoroughly what the procedure entailed, and let ME decide wether I wanted to have the procedure done for my daughter or not. He was warm and welcoming and cared about what I had to say. I recommend him 100% to anyone who needs to see a pediatric surgeon. I'm looking forward to seeing him again.

I love Carol, and appreciate all she has done for us to help us get through the proper channels when we need to. I despise Dr Jeena, and have never dealt with a more pompous, arrogant and self absorbed individual. His bed side manner just plain sucks, he does not care to be questioned, and he has no regard for the young patients he is working with. He is NOT meant to deal with children with special needs, and if you are needing a surgeon, save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere or ask for Dr Sayzik. Dr Jeena is relatively new and it is my hope that his career at RGH is a short one. He needs to come down from his pedistal and put himself in his patients shoes, and even PRETEND to care. I will never allow him to care for my child, and will drive 1000km's to avoid dealing with him. I have dealt with many doctors and have never been so heartbroken and angry with a doctor as I was and am with this man. He needs to go back to People Skills 101.

Dr. Jeena was excellent. He detailed the surgery, took his time to explain what was required, the potential complications and walked us through in a step by step manner that didn't feel dummied down without being overly medical. Following our son's surgery he took the time to come and speak to us, made the appointment to see him and informed us of what we needed to watch for in terms of infection, and next steps. My husband and I both found him very accommodating, kind without being false and factual. We felt our son was in very good hands.
