I cannot say enough good about Dr. Helmut Unruh. When I had surgery he was so reassuring and so good about explaining everything. Best of all he was 100% right about my tumor.

At 73 years of age my Dad was opened up from sternum to backbone in a massively invasive operation to remove part of his lung.Only learned later on that this type of surgery is not recommended for patients over 63 years of age as its just too much for a person that age to handle. Laparoscopic is whats recommended and it totally blows my mind that Helmut chose this route.For several weeks following the surgery my dad was in utter agony.When his return appointment finally came for a checkup with Helmut,it was pretty obvious to see that something wasn't right when there is that much pain. Helmut basically slapped my dad on the back and said he just" needs to get more exercise". No delving into things any further.We finally went to another doctor only to find that cancer was raging right beside the area where the operation was performed.
This doctor seemed more concerned about his production line than any individual. Too full of himself to ever think a patient might be right about something. Gotta push the production line to make the big bucks so he can travel.
