I came to Maeve through a friend that had used her before. I knew she was supposed to be my midwife years before I was pregnant with baby #3. I had two previous OB experiences and really liked my Dr BUT I wanted a homebirth. I had an amazing pregnancy and was so impressed with how long each visit was. She was very attentive to the baby and sent only referred us to the best of the best for our sonogram and a non-stress test at the very end. My birth is a day I will NEVER forget. This has been the best postpartum of all 3 children and I credit that to the birth I was allowed to have thanks to Maeve. I am so grateful!

Jenee is one of the most caring and compassionate women I know. From the moment we met, well before conception, I knew she was the woman I needed to help me bring my rainbow baby into the world. I am so thankful God brought us together. She was so helpful during pregnancy with advice on proper nutrition and exercise, was very inclusive of my older children during appointments, and always made sure I understood that each test offered was my choice. When it came time for my baby to be born Jenee was so supportive and only as hands on as we needed her to be. My baby came very quickly, leaving my birth team little time to prepare, but I never felt Jenee's stress, only loving support. The hours after our birth were magical because she allowed us the space and time we needed to welcome our baby. I absolutely love this woman and am planning to use her again during our next pregnancy.
I am also a doula and recommend Jenee to many of my clients, especially women planning a VBAC!
You will not be disappointed in the care you receive from Jenee.

When my husband and I decided we wanted to start our family, I began researching midwives before we were pregnant. I read Jenee's bio online and instantly knew she was who we wanted at our future birth(s). I met her shortly after that and it just confirmed what I already knew. She was the best choice for us. Thankfully, we became pregnant shortly after and I got to know Jenee as a midwife. She was very attentive and even motherly as she concerned herself with not only my pregnancy needs, but my overall health - physical and emotional. We saw her consistently through the pregnancy and had a very fast, easy birth. We continued to keep in touch with Jenee and started seeing her again a few months ago for pregnancy #2! We are excited to be under her care. She is so knowledgable! Because of my line of work, I have had the special opportunity to work with her on the provider side of things for one birth and was even more impressed with her generosity and caring nature. She is on the very short list of people I trust to take care of me and my family. I recommend her to everyone!

Dishonest midwife! She will tell you anything to get you as a client and then do as little work as possible to get you to the 36 week mark so you can't get any money back. She tranfers over half of her clients to the hospital so you will also be out the cost of a REAL physician. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with someone...Anyone else!!!

We worked very hard and very patiently to make a VBA3C possible for you - in the hospital or out. After switching providers four times in your pregnancy and leading your OB and your midwife to believe you were solely in their care, while seeing both, even to the point of scheduling surgery, we were still willing to be patient with your indecision and assist you faithfully with your best chance at a VBAC at home or at the hospital of your choice. After failing to call your midwife or your doula to your birth you asked both for a refund. Our policy just as with all out of hospital providers is no refunds after 36 weeks and no refund under these circumstances. We are very happy we were able to use our networking relationship to get you in to a marvelous VBAC provider of your choice for a successful vaginal birth! A practice who had denied you care on your own. We hope that at a later time you will feel gratefulness for this connection and our patient and faithful care.

Jenee is an incredible Midwife who will give you the expert and motherly advice needed to care for both you and your baby, and will steer you in the safest direction at all times considering science and natural methods.
I say so because I had planned a birth center delivery at an out of state location but developed pre-eclampsia on my last month of pregnancy. I had planned for prenatal checkups in State with Jenee after she came highly recommended by a sweet friend who gave birth to both of her boys with her. When my blood pressure skyrocketed, she advised me on what to do next, followed by a phone call to the hospital so they'd be ready for me at Labor and Delivery upon my arrival. That was just the beginning of an amazing support throughout the labor, NICU, and post partum. Especially with a preemie. Jenee really carries a balanced practice between what's natural and what's medically needed to care for you and your baby individually. So professional and full of passion for childbirth. I can't express enough how thankful we are! Highly recommended.

I saw Jenee from about 5months of pregnancy to the end. I paid all upfront which was a terrible mistake!!! Throughout my care, she canceled literally every other appointment. I was frustrated by this, but wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt because I had never had care under a midwife and thought maybe this is just the way it goes. So I continued to see her until my water broke (4 days before my due date) and would you know she NEVER came to check on me or the baby to make sure we were ok. I was a VBAC after 3C-sections.! She had me wait at home for 36hours waiting for labor to progress and then after all that time, still only by phone, advised me to go to the hospital! I asked if she would refund some of the money and she told me no since I was after the 36 week mark! TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!!!! Run Far Away! Or at least don't pay her upfront! Horrible experience!

Jenee is amazing!  It was extremely important to us to find someone who would not only care for our baby’s health and well-being, but also my health throughout our journey.  Jenee was that person and more!  She was extremely knowledgeable and educated my husband and I in so many different areas along the way.  She encouraged us to ask questions and answered them all, no matter how big or small.  I was unsure of so many things and she helped me to feel secure and self-confident.  She taught me to trust my body and trust God because He was in control. Words cannot express the love and gratitude I have for Jenee.  She went above and beyond the call of duty to help me during my pregnancy and well after the birth of our son.   She is a wonderful person who has a servant's heart and beautiful soul. I feel very privileged and blessed to have met her and have her as a vital piece in my pregnancy and birth journey.   It was without a doubt one of the best pregnancies I have had and I won’t hesitate to contact Jenee again should we decide to have another child.

Thank you so much for your lovely words! They mean so much to me! The warmth and caring I feel toward your sweet family is so special. It was a privilege to be your midwife and to spend this last year with you!

Jenee offered a warm comfort that I needed in my third pregnancy. She instantly made me feel safe. I was scared of the hospital and OBs after a forced cesarean with my second child. I still tried to see an OB for the first half of my third pregnancy, but I always left in tears. That's when we decided to start interviewing midwives. I met several, but when I met Jenee, I knew she was right for our family! She comforted me and helped me regain confidence in my body. I really learned autonomy under her care! She gave me the confidence I needed to reclaim my body and make all of my own decisions even if they were not the same things she would choose! Thanks, Jenee!!!

When I found out I was pregnant, my husband and I knew that we would be using a midwife. We interviewed several midwives, but we knew within minutes of meeting Jenee that she was the person we wanted as our midwife. One of the the things I loved about Jenee, is that she emphasized the importance of my husband coming to my prenatal appointments. She said that the three of us would be a team and there needed to be trust between all of us. Throughought my pregnancy I looked forward to my prenatal appointments with Jenee. I loved having every question I had carefully and thouroughy answered. The care and love that Jenee gave us was indredible. We had been planning a home birth, but I went in to labor at 35 weeks and needed to have a hospital birth. Jenee was with us every step of the way. Once we arrived at the hospital, Jenee advocated for us with the hospital staff, making them aware of my birth wishes. Every time I would tell my husband another part of my birth plan that I wanted the nurses to know, he told me that Jenee had already told them, or that she was in the hall telling them at that moment. Even thought I birthed at the hospital, Jenee was still able to deliver the baby, as if we were in the comfort of our own home. Jenee was the reason that I had my 'home birth' at the hospital, and I will always be grateful for her role in our lives.

I had heard so many wonderful things about Jenee in the natural birthing community, so I was very much looking forward to having her on my birth team. Unfortunately, as time went on, she became less and less available, treating me more like a burden than a patient. She was great the first two visits, but after she collected her retainer, her level or care dropped dramatically. I called her with concerns about my high blood pressure and she simply told me to "stop worrying so much, we'll talk about it at the next appointment ." (3 weeks out.) Thankfully, I didn't listen to her and sought the care of another provider, because my high blood pressure turned out to be a complication that placed me as "high risk." Ladies, she may wow you in the first visit or two, but mark my words - she is not someone to trust for your medical care! This woman is I'm it for the money alone.
