Don't read the negative about blaming this Dr for covid lol. Its a new virus we still learning more about it. Govender is a great Dr and gets to the bottom of the problem. All these negative reviews on him can choke on covid

Dr Govender takes the time to listen and he genuinely cares. He is never condescending and does not talk down to you. He never dismisses any concern and thoroughly investigates any and all issues. He has repeatedly demonstrated to me that he is willing to leave no stone unturned to get to the bottom of a problem which includes being very willing to refer you to a specialist rather than chance overlooking something. He is very cordial and takes the time to relate on a personal level even when it is obvious that he is very busy. I am approaching senior status and although I have had some good doctors through the years, Dr Kevin Govender has earned my trust and respect more than any other. His staff are busy but have always been conscientious and very pleasant to me.

It is with deep sorrow that I feel it is necessary to write this review. I believe the owners is not in touch with the staff and while they pay lip service, there is no follow through. This place has been a revolving door for some very qualified people. Over the last 7 years they have decided to erode the workplace culture to a state of fear. There is little, if any communication between management and staff, which then trickles down to patient care. As a former patient, I had to move on to another physician who took the time to fix my medical concerns.

Dr. Kevin Govender has been my doctor for 10 years now. He is one of the best doctors that I have ever had. Its actually NOT his fault for the outbreak of COVID in Lloydminster. There were 2 doctors (married) that went to India 🇮🇳 and got sick with it and came home, went to work the next day, without quaranting themselves and passed it to people! This is the TRUTH. Get your facts straight! He never once traveled with his family out of the country.
Yes its true he's overbooked, his secretaries are to blame for that.

By far the best family doctor i have had. I have moved 1.5 hours away, but still kept him as our family doctor. Doesn’t compare to anyone else we have tried

A few years ago he stopped caring. Not like he used to be. He's taking on too much responsibility and puts his patients to the wayside. His front desk lady with the short curly hair is terrible. All she does is talk and thinks she owns the place. Super rude and unprofessional. I think she needs a performance review and a review on how to treat patients. She's in the wrong field!!!

Dr. Govender is a fantastic family doctor, very knowledgeable. My issue is with his nurse, my last visit she was very unprofessional ( slamming doors & slamming things down on the desk) When i asked which room to go in she snarled 'that one' and pointed in the direction of an empty exam room . I understand people have bad days but it is very unprofessional to take it out on patients. On the other hand front desk staff were very nice
