Best doctor I know. I admire his professionalism, attitude, attention to detail, and empathy.

I feel like he didn’t look into the details of my situation. He told me I had a 90% chance nothing would develop with my pregnancy when I was 5 weeks and 2 days. Told me to come back in a week and prepare for DNC. I was bleeding some and cramping. That’s all I was told was I’m losing the baby. So I decided to go to a different OB and get a 2nd opinion. Within a 5 minute ultrasound they found out my bleeding was coming from an SCH. They never found that at Lexington women’s care. They checked my cervix too (dr.estes didn’t) and told me it looked just fine. They found the heartbeat 2 days later at another ultrasound. I spent an entire day crying because of a misdiagnosis (thankfully) but I feel like dr.estes should invest more time into the situation before coming up with crazy high statistics. It ruined any good thing I’ve heard about him and I stuck with the other OB instead.

My husband and I think the world of Dr. Estes.. He hung the moon and stars in our eyes! I've suffered an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage and now two successful pregnancies with him by our side. He has the most empathy of any doctor I have ever dealt with... it's clear he values his patient's needs and is there to offer guidance and support through anything.

Dr Estes is the first OBGYN I've seen who took a full history and didn't rush me out the door as soon as he could. He is very knowledgeable, highly compassionate, and willing to actually talk to his patients. He gave me options for my issue, including explanations of pros and cons for each of them, and let me pick how to handle things. I wish I'd found him years ago. He treats his patients like they have a voice in what is going on with their own bodies!

Very rude doctor. Insensitive about my weight gain. Made a grossed out face when he saw what I had gained. I understand telling someone they need to watch their weight, but the way he said it. And the face he mad. Extremely rude. Day ruined after that visit. Not to mention, the wait was an hour long. Never had that issue with any of the other doctors.

Wouldn't recommend! He was on call when I went into labour. Never checked on me or my baby the entire 12 hours I was there. Never checked my cervix, came into my room after he admitted me into labor & delivery. My baby's heart rate was up, I spiked a fever, yet no Dr. Estes to be found. He's very unprofessional & neglectful!

I have only dealt with him twice, and both times he was completely insensitive and left me in tears. Avoid him if you don't want your day ruined.

The absolute BEST physician out there!! He truly cares about each one of his patients and spends a lot of time getting to know them. My husband and I had trouble conceiving and after visiting many physicians, Dr. Estes was the only one who took the time to review my history and he discovered that I wasn't ovulating. After one visit and an adjustment to medication, we were pregnant. He took great care of me during my pregnancy and difficult delivery. I'm so very grateful for having such an amazing doctor. You will love this physician and practice !!!

LOVE HIM DEARLY!! One of the best doctors around.He followed me even we thought i could not have children. He always gave me hope. I now have 2 girls and he delivered my first daughter and help me through the second. He also performed my surgery 4 months after my last child. He takes the time to answer any questions and concerns that you my have. He has a great staff.

I will forever be grateful to this wonderful doctor who was on call when I had VERY serious and life threatening complications during labor & delivery with my 3rd child. Not only did he save my life and the life of my child he has provided excellent care to me in the 6 years since then. (When my CNM, who was affiliated with his practice, moved out of state I just continued to see him.) He gave me clear and honest advice regarding future pregnancies and while he was clearly of the opinion that I avoid them, and said so, he still gave me all of the facts as they were. When we sent a note of thanks on our daughter's first birthday he called personally to respond to us. He is extremely competetent "technically" in his profession. However, he also has heart, faith, compassion, and will give you his time and ATTENTION. All so rare in our fast-paced world these days. And if you are seeing him for pregnancy care, his colleagues are great, too, which matters! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
