He did the braces for myself and my two other siblings. He was great when I had my braces for 2 years when I was 12. My teeth move very easily which is something we were all aware of from the beginning so when I got my braces off at 14. At 17
I was still on retainer and I asked him if he can just put the permanent one because it was very clear that my teeth would not stop moving without support. He kept telling me we'll see but it came to a point where it was 5 years after I got my braces off and I was still making appointments with him to see how my teeth were because he would refuse to accommodate me and some sort of solution. He was very good for my braces but the after care was ridiculous. I am currently 28 years old and my teeth had moved so much my bottoms are still not straight so I'm going to be seeking a new orthodontist for a permanent solution. He is very knowledgeable however in my experience he drags things out until you give up. I feel that after a couple of thousand dollars you should not be gaslighted into believing that your teeth just need more time to settle.

I wasn’t very impressed with dr learners job on my teeth. When I had gotten my braces taken off. The main connection to my top layer one of the back teeth had gotten a split from the wire being glued on that tooth. He made me feel stupid and told me it was my fault for having a crack.. not very helpful at all. I’m very upset. I spent 8,000$ and this tooth is fully cracked now.

Dr Lerner has taken my granddaughter through this process and today the braces are coming off! She's over the moon with the result, and the next step is a good dental cleaning.

He did not take any responsibility for an issue with my retainer (nor did he warn me that clear retainers might break more easily before I purchased them). My bottom retainer cracked at a thin point but the blame was put on me. I do not clench or grind my teeth. Certainly, a retainer should be capable of resisting a little pressure without cracking in only a few months. Moreover, when I first got my retainers, he told me he would keep my molds in case I would need a new retainer. When I required a new retainer only a few months later, I was told I would have to pay for new molds. When I asked what happened to my molds I received clear response. His staff who spoke to me over the phone kept cutting me off and changing the subject to irrelevant things. The issue was not resolved.

Nice and all, but the guy doesnt realize he should do things unless you point it out to him. My mouth still not completely straight... He delays things over and over. Have had bottom braces for 4 years when they weren't even that bad to start with since he just reverses everything over and over again.

I couldn't have asked for a better orthodontist, he was kind , understanding and extremely punctual.
I used him for the work on my teeth and now will use him for my son. I've been referred to others and seen others and none compare to Dr. Lerner.
