Awful Dr. Has no bedside manner. Arrogant. No conclusions. Wouldn't recommend anyone to see him. Do your homework first to find a good Dr! It will save you a lot of headache, unnecessary time, worry and stress.

The worst dr.I have ever meet, rude,pompous, with no experience, who did not give me the right diagnose and because of that I suffer a great deal.Do no go to this dr, even if is the last dr. on earth.

Dr. Yu has been great with me. I have following him for 5 years for IBD. My symptoms are well controlled on Remicade. I am actually quite thankful to him for his help!

Dr. Yu would not properly diagnose or effectively treat my colitis because I was pregnant. My apts. we're always 6 weeks apart, and then I called to try to get an emergency apt. His receptionist turned me down. In that 6 week waitin period my symptoms went from medium to severe and I was hospitalized for 2 weeks and put on extremely strong steriods. My advice to you is to avoid this doctor like your life depends on it. See a specialist who works at Mount S

Dr. Yu did not seem very knowledgeable when it came to pregnancy and IBD. My doctor was not happy with his diagnosis and told me to see a more experienced doctor. I think he is very nice, I just believe he needs more experience in this field.

The receptionist of Dr. Derek Yu is very mean and rude! In October this year, my appointment was set to Dec 22, 2016. I called and asked if I can see Dr. Yu earlier as I still have pain every day on my stomach area, She said "No, this is earliest date we have". Yesterday, 9 days before my appointment date, I got message from her, my appointment will be cancelled by Dr. Yu and she ask me to reschedule! I ask the receptionist what is reason to cancel it, I have been waited for so long time and have made all my vacation plan based on this appointment. The receptionist answer very rudely: "I don't know, Dr. Yu just ask you to reschedule! If you want to know, you can come to ask him by yourself!" What kind of person! Am I wrong at least to know the reason to cancel the appointment?

I am very grateful to Dr. Yu. The government had denied my hepatitis C treatment, but he was able to get the drug company to give it me for free! I think the drug costs like 60,000.
