Dr. Khaled Elgadi is my dad, and I am his 14 year old son, this is not a review of his services but a review on what I think about him over years of seeing his patients going out of their way to thank him, and a man that I think is a good surgeon.

I have never seen such polarizing reviews for anything or anyone.

Every review I saw here was either extremely grateful towards his work or calling him arrogant or lazy. probably because it’s more likely for someone who wants to write a bad review to write a bad review than vise versa, and also these bad reviews are almost always derogatory and never just says what they didn’t like, just raging about his “terrible service”.

I may not work with him but in my six years of living in New Liskeard whenever I would come to work with him and all the interactions he has so many people who are so extremely thankful for his services.

This makes sense because when was living in New Liskeard over the years I have noticed that the people there are either incredibly caring and amazing people or just fûcking asshōles which is really unfortunate.

The reason I am writing this review is because I think he deserves more than just 3 and a half stars, I understand that some of you may be frustrated by the fact that he wasn’t able to refer you to the correct specialist but come on.

That man was always on call, sometimes even working 16 hour shifts day in and day out and still making time to spend time with his kids (me and my sister) and he has saved so many lives and spent so much time to make sure he could be caring towards his patients.

And to second that, he doesn’t control everything, he is the one who does the surgeries, and many of these terrible reviews are critiques on referrals to other doctors or stories about him that sound almost comical in proportion and written as though they were tabloids, and some that are just straight up insulting the man.

But I understand the frustration, and he does too. He has told me many times that he think the health system of Canada is not very efficient or just not really good, and he can’t control if the people around him have a reason or another to not be able to make certain decisions because of how busy they are.

But come on, 😕
what do you think you will achieve by going online and talking shít about medical professionals and making accusations, especially the ones of “hating women” which I find very unlikely due to the fact that I have known him my whole life.

And to those who wrote those long winded, unnecessarily rude and dramatic reviews that I’ve seen, I think you should maybe invest in a hobby or something because going on the internet to write paragraphs insulting a surgeon on the internet, a surgeon that has operated on at least 1000 people so far and that has saved so many of their lives.

I honestly don’t know how it’s worth spending so much time to just leave derogatory reviews about the people who have put so much effort into making sure your whiny aśs lives just because you have nothing to do, like to gossip, and probably yells at cashiers in their spare time.

So, I mean this in the most respectful way, (not really) but go fück yourself and stop being a whiny asś bìtch.

DR. ELGADI made me feel horrible about myself. Dissimive, tardy, seemed lazy and thoughtless. I wouldn't bring my dog to him

Dr. Elgadi is very thorough and answers any questions you may have. He is pleasant to talk to and gives you well thought out responses in layman's terms. I would recommend him to anyone that needs his specialty type.

Dr Elgadi, is one of the kindest most caring Dr's I have ever been too. When no one else would listen to me, he did, and he immediately detected a huge mass. No one would pay attention to me in my own hometown!! Dr Elgadi, referred me to the best in Toronto and has followed up with me. He cares and gives me the time of day, and I never feel rushed. yes maybe sometimes you have a bit of a wait, but to me, that's because he is listening to his patients and giving them the best care. I couldn't be happier then the care I have received from him. Ellen has always been helpful in his office also

Arrogant, rude, God complex; these are some of the words that I would use to describe this man - notice I didn't use the word doctor?! At first he was helpful and appeared to be interested in helping with the situation but he quickly lost interest when he could not find a solution, but yet he was too possessive and egotistical to pass the case on to another doctor more willing and able to assist with the situation. After I insisted on getting a transfer and second opinion in a possible fatal situation, this man acted like a prepubescent child, crossing his arms and stomping his feet- not exaggerating! I'm describing the attitude and demeanor of a grown man who is supposed to be a professional! This doctor might be practicing for Bill C-14....just a heads up!! You need to be firm with this doctor, if you are not receiving the care you think you need or that there is more that could be done, put your foot down. I thank God that I did or the outcome of this situation would have resulted in the certain death of a loved one.
