I recently relocated to Halifax, and as such required a new Doctor. I have PTSD after serving 28 years with the Military. I waited over an hour and a half for my appt. When I finally saw Dr.Hanna, she questioned me on the drugs I was taking. I informed her that I was Taking Advair and Ventolin for COPD, and Medical Marijuana for PTSD. When I informed her of this, she became very rude with me , stating " I do not give prescriptions for Cocaine, Marijuana, or any other of those types of drugs" she made me feel like I was some sort of drug addict. I informed her that the reason that I use Medical Marijuana, is that the other types of Medication that I had received for my PTSD had very serious side effects that were debilitating, and I could not take them. She then made me sign a form stating that I was aware that she would not prescribe Medical Marijuana or Narcotics to me. She then filled out another form, and told me that I needed to have my blood tested, handed this to me, and that was the end of the visit. First and foremost, I never went to see her for any type of Medication...I just wanted a Family Doctor. And what the H...do I need a blood test for. This person is the most unprofessional "Doctor" that I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. As I stated above I have PTSD, and with the treatment that I received from her today, has triggered some very bad emotions, and I doubt that I will be venturing out in the near future to find a "New" Doctor

last week, I had visited Dr.Hanna to check my blood analysis. She did not provide enough information for me about my concern. She was frustrated. At that time, She recommended me t o visit her after five days to do pop test. Today (27 sept), I came on time (at 11 am). There was few people in the clinic. After 15 minutes, there was a woman, she came and she said for the front disk she had an appointment with doctor Hanna at 11:20. Unexpectedly, the woman was able to enter to meet doctor Hanna after only 4 minutes. I asked the front disk why this women entered before me and I came on time and my appointment was at 11 am before her . I said no problem lets wait I waited in her office for 45 minutes and I really got irritated. At 12 pm, I had decided to book another appointment with another doctor. I feel this is unfair ( I have to pay for this appointment, but I got nothing from this doctor). Thanks for reading this complaint.
